Vistadom trains are awesome in Northeast India. There are 4 vistadom trains introduced in India an 3 are in the Northeast. Routs are - Guwahati-Haflong, Guwahati-Naharlagun, Naharlagun-Tinsukia. Views are awesome...The jungle, rivers, mountains, cloud, rains😇

That’s a lie. It’s a dangerous place. The only beautiful place to visit there is kashmir and it’s illegally occupied by them. Rest of the places in india have nothing to offer. A group of us did the Mangalore to Bangalore train journey in April 1984. We all went by 3 tier ordinary sleeper class and it was mostly empty. This video brings back memories, though in those days the western ghats were thick jungles & the speed of the train was very slow 🐌

I made the journey on the New Jalpaiguri-Alipurduar Vistadom Special Tourist Special Express train which runs between New Jalpaiguri Junction and Alipurduar Junction in West Bengal. The train belongs to the North Eastern Frontier Railway Zone of Indian Railways. Wonderful experience in the rainy season..❤️🇮🇳

A quick tip to book Vistadome : You need to book them in advance, precisely a month early on a safer side... it's soo demanding...

India has everything from Tata 407 to Tata Harrier and even Rangerover. Those foreigners who are Bald and Bankrupt and who like drinking desi daaru don't mind crashing out in the bed of Tata 407 however as a foreigner if you like comfort and luxury then yes we have these trains too.

Been journeying in this route for a few years in a chair car AC coach, but the travel in a vistadome coach is an awesome experience altogether. Having said that, these coaches were introduced about a year ago in this route and has been a big hit.

Best time on vidtadome from Mangalore to Bangalore is from August to October. Numerous waterfalls on one side and breathtaking ghats on the other. Its simply awesome

This train is best, from my experience we should go at Rainey 🌧️ season because in western ghats it's very beautiful to see nature and waterfalls. And most important thing is if u want see train tracks behind the train Go from Bengaluru, from Mangaluru u can't get that view. This back view is one of the main thing in this train 🚂.

Another Vistadome train to try out : Guwahati to Badarpur Jn (15888) via DimaHasao's magnificent and picturesque Borail mountain 🗻 ranges. Services on this route will resume when Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) will complete the major repair works which are going on in full swing due to landslides and heavy rainfall in this area. Hopeful to ride on this route in a few months 🙂.

What you didn't mention in the video is the TUNNELS Decades agp when trains were sparingly passing in this section, I have done the track trek between sakaleshpur to subramanya. In one particular long tunnel, where tunnel ends.... a bridge starts and experience was breath taking.

Most adult indians are vaccinated and for more than 3 months masks are generally not in use.. i still wear leaving nose open but when reach crowded places i cover my nose..may be 10% people still use mask..
