Hi Derek, a really good review and in a nutshell............ wow! I'm impressed, I don't actually own an acoustic but that really does look like a practical multi fx for those that do. It seems to have all you need for a simple and intuitive palette of sounds and I think that swapping out the o/d for a chorus is logical and quite frankly, I'd stay with the latter. Street price may be a little high but I wouldn't mind betting that as the units start moving there will be street deals to be had. The installation is another plus and it looks as though someone seems to have put some thought into the Tonewood and well done to them! Cheers, mate.

Great explanation as always, Derek. This is the next step in the evolution of shaping acoustic guitar tones. It is far more sophisticated than the tech in my Yamaha Transacoustic, as the ability to adjust the parameters is far more enhanced. Very interesting piece of kit. Cheers!

can the battery be recharged? How long does it last with alkaline batteries? I would like to get it for fingerstyle

Thanks for watching, you can put rechargeable batteries in it and you can get up to 7 hours playing time from them, there’s info on the tonewood amp site regarding different battery types, Hope that helps.

Hello mate, question, I’m searching for the easiest lightest softest guitar strings for my Ibanez AC340, any suggestions?? Your pal Ross.
@DerekPaulGuitar3 жыл бұрын
Hey Ross, I use d’addario so I’m not quite sure but I’ve tried 11’s on my acoustic and they definitely felt lighter, I’d wouldn’t necessarily recommend softer strings, need to work those callouses :))))

Sorry. Not great at all. A gimmick. Battery gone very fast, heavy gear, after an initial honeymoon phase, the excitement quickly drops and you will want to get rid of it. Not needed at home, not at the campsite, not needed... This is a pure commercial video... + Not sure you want to have a huge magnet on your belly for your hours of practice / playing every day...

Thanks for the input and opinion, it won't be for everyone i'm sure, cheers!
