Uce, from a brother also losing weight: Depression and eating “good” food (ie, whatever you wanna eat) is strongly tied together, it’s how I personally gained nearly 45kg in the last few years despite being active all the time. I’m now working to fix that, but it’s a long process as I’m sure anyone who’s actually been there before can relate. Go back to your first week video and see where you started at. Remember what you used to feel like and how hard life was, and how far you have reached and how much further you can go still. Also, noticed your friends aren’t in as many videos the last few months; I’m sure they still have a strong presence in ur life, but I see the test you’ve been facing; training consistently alone with different people each week. That sucks, putting it bluntly. Really glad and happy that you’re still trying. Buckle down and break through that brick wall of being disciplined about food and calories, as well as training consistency; do it for your future self

Slow progress don’t mean no progress. You inspired me to get started on my own weight loss journey Uce. It’s really slow for me and I only lose 0.2-0.3 kgs every 2-3 weeks. But I’ve kept it up and I’ve lost 13 kgs over the last 9 months. You got this, as you said it’s about consistency. I believe in you!

Been watching since week 1 - I think you lost your motivation around the time you start posting more videos of "samoans trying " -- Your diet is going to be the biggest contributor to your weight loss journey. You've come a long way since that first week. Can you make a video showing us your workout schedule and your daily diet? The only thing I remember is showing us that you buy bagged salad, bottled water, and some chicken. You have the entirety of KZbin at your disposal, filled with sports scientists, weight loss specialists, coaches, etc... Everyone plateaus on their journey, but a 30 week plateau means something needs to change. Others have posted this before -- You can't out-train a bad diet. At this rate, I really don't wanna be there for week 100. I really hope that you continue your weight loss plan after the 100th week. You can do this!

Hey man- just wanna say. I sense some shame with you around your diet. The cycle will never improve unless you begin to address food as an addiction and think about your emotional responses to stress. The constant spiral of rewarding yourself with food and guilt after eating is one I’ve felt in my life. It’s really important that you take the time to address your mental health and talk with a professional. I’ve seen a string of comments about you being seen at various fast food places and essentially living a life off camera that doesn’t align with what we see on camera. Winners win and I think you can do it if you put your mental health first.

@jeringatai31565 ай бұрын
You cant do that diet for long periods of time. Its a short term diet designed for epilepsy and the only reason you lose weight is because you're cutting out a macro. Macros are alot of calories. If you cut fat for 10 weeks, youll lose alot of weight fast, if you cut protein for 10 weeks, you'll lose alot of weight fast
@rhino29925 ай бұрын
@jeringatai3156 It's for epilepsy? I've never heard that before. I agree that it will allow you to reach a goal which is a deficit. I think that being in a deficit whilst not restricting any major food groups but raining certain macros is easier to adhere too. Although I take your point about restrictive diets only being short term

as someone who lost it, then fell off the wagon and gained it back, then lost it again. you need to make a routine and stick to it, be comfortable hitting the gym on your own so you arent waiting on people who could let you down and knock you off your groove. also diet is the biggest part of losing weight, even more than exercise. calorie tracking is the key, not these diet fad trends, calories in and out is all that matters and being active. once i learned that, was easier to drop the 90kg and keep it off. if you ever need a reminder, grab the amount of weight you lost with dumbells or a bar and try walking with it, its crazy when you actually feel it.
