What a night, Geoff! Seems your invite got lost in the post! I am pleased to say that I have a number of those whiskies in my own collection - even the Longmorn, which I was delighted to see. So, I'm not too jealous. When my son visits, we normally have four - sometimes five - different bottles to choose from, so your 12 actually made me more comfortable with our celebrations. Very cool lineup with a nice mix of styles. FWIW Glengoyne 21 or Balcones' 15th anniversary bottle are high on my list as my next gift-to-me bottle. A Glenfarclas Family Cask bottle is forever my white whale.

Happy Birthday ! In September joined the 60 club and opened some special bottles I had been keeping for something special. An indi Longmorn 21 bottled in 2012 that was from the old coal fired stills. A indi Benriach 23 that was old enough to come from there in house malting floors. anCnoc 24 that when I worked back from the tiny bottling date on the back was distilled in 1995 when I was in Yorkshire on vacation so at least close to Scotland. I love the way Whisky is a time machine in a bottle like this. And finally the Tomatin PX distillery hand fill I got there in 2022 that was a 21 year old. Cheers
