I am loving this series. Always wished RPG's would let you focus on more "every day" ways of living in their respective universes, as a base to their main plotlines. Trying to survive and thrive in Skyrim would be anything but mundane. I love my "save the world" and adventure stories too, but there's something so refreshing about slower, roleplay focused playthroughs.

Just FYI for anyone using the 'Your Market stall" mod (7:57) now the mod works, but if you sell an item ANY item to a person that has a quest for you (that you haven't completed yet) like that redguard guy who wants his family sword or Ysolda, selling an item to them will "complete these quests" so you'll get 11g instead of an increase in one handed or speech. and you'll never have a chance to actually do these quests, if you actually wanted to do them.

It's always a great day when Vale uploads. My favorite video yet! Fantastic pacing. Really liked the river trade system diagram. So happy to see the friend for Sweetroll. 2 quick thoughts I had, 1. Maybe some action can be thrown into this playthrough for the upcoming city build? Since Alon is increasing in power/wealth, maybe he's attracting attention from bad actors. Perhaps bandits wanting to raid the trading caravans and/or perhaps Maven Black-Briar, (proximity to Riften and influence in the to Rift and if you use the buildable meadery. Just a thought 2. Have you considered a Patreon?

I thought the map edit was fun, always trying to find new things to make the edit better 😃 I think Alorn is a man of peace in this universe, but I’ve got an idea for a follow on which will be more action filled! Considering a patreon but want to make sure the benefits are good, thinking up some ideas for perks so everyone gets value for their hard earned money!

Im using this same mod in my vampire lord overhaul load order. Ive modded it to remove the main quest line, and dragons all together. Youre no longer dragon born and even the nords seem to have no idea it exists as they never mention it either. Shouting is also out, as my mods have introduced a series of new spells and abilities to vampires and a new skill tree and progression system to the vampire lord. But i have built a village where an rntire clan of vampires are living in blackthorn mannnor and all of the villagers and shop keepers in blackthorn have been enthralled as vampire cattle. You occasionally see one of the vampire npcs feeding on the thralls, and its been beautiful so far. Almost like castle volkihar in a small village in the rift.

These mods really underestimate the amount of work that goes into walls... you can't erect it in a day, or even a month, stone walls usually take years to craft, especially if you have to make them sturdy enough to support towers and full gates. not only that but these ones don't cover the river at all, you can just swim around it.

I recommend you try out the Elder Kings 2 mod for Crusader Kings 3, if you like this sort of building or kingdom management set in the Elder Scrolls universe! It is a 4X strategy game and not an RPG however.

@@ValePlaysGames it’s essentially fellburg but with quests and a progression system to go from peasant to lord commander of the citadel it’s rather fun in my opinion but a bit buggy, if you do check it out read the posts to see problems others have experienced, i myself had none though

Im having a bit of qn issue with the Modpack where im unable to move around when once im done setting up with Skyrim unbound i eas wondering if you had the dame issue and what your fix was

I had this issue and it seemed to fix by turning all of the mods off in the nexus launcher, and then enabling them again! Not sure what caused it, but I did have to make a new save for it

I really am liking this series however it does bother me the fact that even as a sucessful merchant and owner of a town he is still using dirty miner clothes. I dont think he needs to use nobility style clothes but at least something that shows you social standing
