Well done!! Such a huge project. I'd also recommend making the back panel slightly wider than the two front panels, so there's a small gap between the front panels for your back neck. It can help the neckline sit nicely.

My own googling has led me to believe that a really loose waistcoat stitch could make a beautifully even but also drapey fabric - I haven't gotten around to testing it yet though. If you made the Eevee square a little longer width wise, the front panels will hang forward rather than the top ones going over and behind your shoulders! It just gives you a little more neck room. Nevertheless, an amazing finished project that has me thinking about what squares I could make and turn into a cardi

It really is the best match for Eevee I've ever found! The yarn is a generic one from ebay called '8ply milk cotton yarn' and I think it was colour 41.
