James Hype is really the only EDM DJ that does a show with the genius artist vibes of the legendary bands. It's difficult to explain it in words, but you know it when you feel it. The problem is that we desperately need something to progress the sound of rhythmic music and it needs to be correctly complimented with the slight hint of familiarity or nostalgia. There's a severe lack of these innovators who were born after 1980, so artists, music creators, and producers like James Hype need to attend to this project first and foremost if we are to level up to a new progression in current rhythmic music. Beyond the talent is the ability to collaborate with just about anyone, and I do believe that James has that open mind with a touch of humility which keeps it all about the love of the music.
