I find the Arcana cards so interesting and well designed like they genuinely give unique effects that isn't just, "Insert stat boost here", they give boosts that make sense and effects to make builds around.

Yeah, the rounds mods come in many flavours, the ones with no arts, just stat boosts. The ones that are mildly interesting, the good ones like dino, the very interesting ones like the hacker, mechanic and spell cards and the Arcana, it's just on a completely different level

That’s why actually interesting, well made cards with good gimmicks beat raw stat buffs any day of the week. Not saying Dino cards are poorly made, in fact they’re pretty good, just that arcana’s are a completely different level.

18:38 btw, paleontologist is a class card that affects all prior and future cards, that's why it can only be taken once and those stats get added EVERY time a dino card is picked not just applied to the cards he already has, though it doesn't label it on the future cards because it's like a passive bonus

I'd love to see a mythology based deck mod, Titans being legendary cards, like chronos god of time, on block rewind 10 seconds or something, normal gods being rare like hermes gives speed buff, zeus makes you fire lightning bolts that have an area where they arc electricity doing like 1% normal damage on arcing, hades applying burn or summoning souls for shields or something. Then we get to demigods/heros being uncommon/common cards. Herculies is a damage buff for example achielies gived defense buff, etc.

I think there are only two ways for Dino to win against Arcana 1. Picking poison spit bullets so much it covers the MAP and then becoming tanky enough to with stand the toxic spit bullets. 2. Having any build but pick stegosaurs so much the you don't take damage.

I like Arcane, it's interesting that they all work so well in unison and aren't like the other boring "God" carts from other modds. The most segnificant stat increase comes from the Wheel of fortune that lets you pick the stat you want to increase into oblivion including health and most importantly, block cooldown.

never skip the wheel of fortune the $1 cards are 1/2 as strong as the $3 versions. so if you skip and spend $3 the next round you get the same buff as getting the $1 buff cards last round and the next round but you are spending extra $1

Arcana cards might be good. But come on. He only build block builds. In other videos with block builds he adds pierce shield. As he do not add it here he wins by default. Every lucky wheel roll goes into reduced block cooldown from the last round videos. I love the rounds videos and the banter. But boring to watch the same block build default win.
