I'm not 100% sure what space was mapped to but the inputs were weighted so the more common characters would make him move right to progress. He tried the challenge earlier without the weighted inputs and it got less than half the amount of clears in the end

Bowswr has never been the big bad since... It was always someone esle a nearly every time a new character...
