Been a long time subscriber, I've become more confident learning from your fashion tips. We have similar body type and now found out we're both ENFJs ❤ I'm on the journey to find myself and life purpose, but also dealing with self-doubt and insecurities. I almost cried when hearing you said "am I enough". This hit me hard. The piece of advice I find most helpful was to make it about your mission and we should not listen to our insecurities which come from ego. Thank you for these wonderful wise words, Bethany. You are a true inspiration!

The foremost thing I want to say is that, your voice is so comforting and the way you describe every thing in detail seems so composed and deep. Whatever you mentioned in the video is just so right and I would love to hear more from your experiences. Thank you Bethany.

I love this new content Bethany! I'm an artist opening my first studio space and it couldn't have come at a better time. This shift is bringing about so many insecurities from within, but also deep down I know that I'm ready to rise to the challenge. Sometimes I think that we shrink ourselves by focusing on our insecurities and fears because we are scared of our own potential. Wishing you all the best xo.

Hi Bethany! Congratulations on your new channel. I am looking forward to it. All the points in this video resonated with me, but especially the surrounding myself with mentors at any age. From a young age, I have always surrounded myself with older people who have provided me with guidance and wisdom. About 10 years ago, I found myself in a new work setting surrounded by colleagues who were mostly 10 years younger than me. It was my turn to offer guidance and support. Despite looking younger than my age, many saw me as a peer rather than a mentor. However, recently I connected with someone 10 years younger than me when she showed interest in a baby stroller I was selling. We discovered that we had a lot in common and decided to get to know each other through a play date. Towards the end of our first meeting, she curiously asked me about my age, and when I shared that I was 44, the mood instantly changed. Although she expressed surprise at our physical similarities, it didn't feel like a compliment and the atmosphere became awkward. I realized that she wasn't ready to accept my friendship or the wisdom I could offer, so I gracefully left the situation. I made a conscious effort not to take it personally and focused on the fact that not everyone will appreciate a connection and look past the age difference. By the way, Bethany, it's wonderful to learn that we share a birthday! I can truly understand and appreciate the significance you place on self-improvement and gratitude.

I loved this so much, I re-watched a few sections! A few things that have helped me see the larger picture (outside of myself) are history and astronomy. They both remind me that we're just small, working parts in a greater mission. So glad to see you post again!

Hi Bethany, I love the message about focusing on the mission that God gave to each one of us, not on ourselves. I've followed you for years, and hearing you speak about this feeling of "not enough" and how you cope with it helps me a lot

The one that struck me the most in this moment is: Get a bigger picture so that I can fulfill different parts of the canvas with equal degree of calmness, or atleast can make an informed choice. And how the pillow can feel soft at night, I love that analogy. Thanks Bethany❤

The way that I understand the difference between being seen and being heard is that both involve a need for validation but in a different form. Seeing someone involves things like understanding and acknowledging the other person without the use of words; caring and forgiving; empathising; reading the other person's body language. Hearing someone includes validating the other person with verbal affirmations; listening to their words and actively showing that you've understood; asking direct questions rather than trying to read into their intentions; engaging in conversation and being open about your feelings.

Bethany I have to tell you I am so excited to hear this. You have always been my favorite content creator regarding fashion. I did take your fashion course and learned SO much from it. Although we have a LOT in common regarding clothing choices (I am a total neutral girl which I never realized until I moved into my new home and was organizing my closet and realized I hardly have any clothing of color or patterns - other than a few striped tops). You and I have similar body types. I am 5’ 3” (barely) and do not intentionally own a scale but estimate my weight is around 115 (the last time I was weighed at the drs and usually tell them not to tell me but I peeked. I was married to someone for many years who body shamed me constantly so I try to have a healthy relationship today with food, exercise, etc. I follow several workout women on KZbin as I workout from home but the fact that you are going to be doing daily workouts really excites me as I also really enjoyed LeoSculpt. Love your content Bethany and so glad to hear you are going to be back!!!!

I started watching your KZbin channel during 2020. Even though you are much younger than me (I'm 70 yrs.old now) I really enjoyed your videos. There was something so special about you. Now I know. God has given you a platform to help other women. We started a Women's Mentoring Ministry at our church 3 yrs. ago. Beside Ministry. I have been blessed to have been a Mentor to 5 women and am mentoring 2 women right now. You are not only being blessed by the older women in your life, you are blessing them. We pray, meet, learn and encourage each other. I have three daughters. I had my Bethany when I was 44 yrs.oId. Then son, Nathan at 44 yrs. old. Knowing someone's love language is soo important in a relationship. May God continue to bless you, your family and all that you are doing. Love,🩷

I got back from vacation and happily saw that you were back. So glad to see you. Also happy to know you are a woman of faith. You didn't say anything I didn't know (I'm in my 60's and been a Christian since I was 23), but it's such a blessing when a young woman knows her worth in Jesus. I've been a subscriber for at least 3-4 years and I don't think I've ever heard you mention God., so praise God! I'm so glad your husband is empathetic. I have one of those too : ) Thank you for your continued content Bethany. You are a gem.

Bethany, I keep wondering How beautiful your soul is and God choose your body to pass such deep understandings about life and blessed you with the wisdom and vision to share it with all of us unconditionally because you are doing all of it not just for yourself but for serving God's purpose! I was really touched and emotional with Chapter 6 & 7 You know Most of the content on KZbin is tempting initially but ultimately just mind cluttering. But this one from you is one of those that cleanses the mind's misconceptions and calms it down, it feels so pure and serene as that's simply your reflection! I just want to thank god for having known you in this Life time. I love u so much ❤

I loved this video . Really has me reflecting. Also I wanted to point out how I love you have the like and subscribe as just words at the end and not something you say in your video. I find when people mention it in the video it disconnects from the message of the video and comes from a place of fear. However the way you do it removes that fear from your videos and content making me just want to hear all you have to say. So thank you for the work you do.❤

So much wisdom. Thanks for sharing. I'm learning similar lessons in my own life...no matter how weak or 'not enough' we are, God is more than enough, & it's our dependence on him that allows him to use us & be glorified. Also, I'm not surprised you're an ENFJ. As an INFJ, I had an intuitive hunch...

I've recently came to realisation just how fearful I am. It has impacted my whole life, and I want to change. What helps you confronting your fears?
@bethanyleonardo10 ай бұрын
Hi Sally, it’s good to reflect on that. The opposites of fear are power, love, and self-discipline so I try to get perspective on which of these i am not living out by choosing fear.
