hello penrose ,i am watching this late at night too so it feels like a late night one on one conversation , i definitely relate to every single thing u had to say. what i realize now though is that some people are just incapable of or maybe they just dont wanna be vulnerable / have deep conversations with ppl. and well unfortunately for me thats the vibe i bring to the function. dont get me wrong i love brainrot but i can just as easily and quickly switch to serious deeper topics and just try to get to u know know people and really understand them on a deeper level so id be there trying so hard to connect to the person standing in front of me and yes it feels exactly like an interview bc they dont show the same curiosity back. so i guess i just realized that its okay not every single person has to know ur lore , its okay to know people at just a surface level/laugh with them at a funny joke in social gatherings and never see them again. its okay to just leave it at that. but ya i relate, i am not good at the first type of fitting in either like the choas hype typa thing. and i crave the second type of fitting in . i love fostering deeper connections and fulfilling friendships with people. i have like 5 of these ppl and honestly i am happy to have them in my life. they wanna see me do well and suceeed and thats more than enough for me.

Hey, this is absolute gold - thanks for sharing such a powerful story. I love the message "don't fit in" I've had this feeling for the longest time. I had a very similar moment - when my friends just talk about the latest celebrity trends, I felt left out because I wanted to talk about deeper things like self-improvement like yourself. And for the longest time, I was genuinely sad because I couldn't find anyone I could genuinely have a deep connection with, but fortunately over the past year, I have found a few (it's truly quality over quantity). And social media, although bad in many ways, has many good aspects - and one good thing is that you can find people like yourself who are very value-aligned and share the same mission.
