Dear Ronnie: during my period of living in China, I would watch your videos every week at night in my apartment, and something cool happens now: I just found your videos today again! and you looks awesome as the first day that I met you in your videos; I learnt a lot from you, to be honest I used to have a crush on you; you still have your charisma, your charm, and that jolly thing that makes your vids awesome. May God bless you and keep posting, sincerely, your admirer.

Your explanation is great! I had a bad English teacher and I didn't know when to you "would" and that's why I avoided the word. Now I get it and I will use it with confidence. :) I used to eat lots of meat but now I can't because of my disease. I would eat lots of meat when we celebrated my friend's wedding - If my doctor had seen me, she would have scolded me. :D
@nadiyanadi1822 жыл бұрын
Allow me to guid you according to your example : i use to eat a lots of meat but now i can't, the correct answer is: I used to eat a lots of meat but now i don't , in the past you use the verv in past " used " but now you use the verb in the simple present " i don't and not i can't .

Thank you for your video. I considered this topic to be difficult. However, you explained everything really clearly. I have never heard or maybe I've never paid attention to the pronunciation of "used to". So I was shocked that native speakers pronouns it like "useta" I always learn smth new from your videos. I like your approach to every topic and how funny you are. Moreover, it's easy for me to perceive your pronunciation and accent. That's why I can watch your video without subbtitles
