@victory the huge footing with the beams sticking up were for the spancrete sled pour table. They would pull rebar from the anchor point and put incredible pulling pressure on the cable/rebar inside the spancrete double Ts while the poured each section. It locks the cable/rebar into the contrete under the pressure/tension. This provides an incredibly strong tensil strength. You can imagine the tons of pull tension on the beams sticking out of the footing.
@JohnThompsonthegreat
@JohnThompsonthegreat Ай бұрын
The really bad news is these beams would have been driven into the ground with a diesel powered hammer to around 20 feet to 30 to get the holding power needed to hold that much sideways pressure. Maybe not but that was typical of how they do it.

Let’s be honest. Ryan has a huge reputation to maintain now that he’s blown up on social media. So he’s gonna bend over backwards to please his customers so he cry to us about all the things he does for his customers. Plus he doesn’t want potential disgruntled customers calling him out on social media and being seen by y’all. If he didn’t have all the social media clout was just a regular blue collar guy then he would’ve just told the home owners to go pound sand.

lol it isn’t some mystery. It’s concrete and steel. And he just needs it out and gone so he can have his retention pond so that the city is satisfied. This isn’t some game, there doesn’t need to be some silly contest. I understand you want to be entertained but understand this. You’re just along for the ride, you don’t have a day in where it takes you. So sit back and enjoy it and don’t het to invested in these peoples lives. They don’t care about you or me. They want you to watch and buy their merch so they can profit.

@@Docstantinople oh I’m throughly entertained slick and don’t think for one minute he isn’t concerned about what is said about him all the time. It’s why he loses sleep and spends so much energy making sure you are all told every one that says anything he doesn’t like are jealous of him. Or that he has to hide the truth that comes out in the comment section by deleting those comments. The truth is if he had done his due diligence in the purchasing process he’d know what he was dealing with before he started digging and would have talked to the guy he claims to have talked to today about the property before he bought it. Now let’s see if this gets deleted too.

@@CShermBern He shows up because it’s an easy paycheck. He’s on time because there’s a bonus for it. Maybe he’s trying his best at work (I doubt it), but the results are like 25% of a normal worker’s output. He’s only worth the money here because the stupidity brings views and interaction which means money, so he’s worth more than Ryan pays him and Ryan likes to have Big Rat close. So very, very close. Beards intertwining close.

Great work as always. Hopefully the customer tells others how far you went to treat them right and gives you some great word of mouth advertising. Also I figured out what the giant mass of concrete on your property is. It's actually a Lumpus nest. You found the Queen Lumpus.

Think the steel and concrete deep in ground on your property I think it's a control point for post tension overpass/bridge beams that are poured in ground forms and then tensioned with very big cables running the length of the conc beam if I remember correctly. It's been since 1985 since I went thru a yard setup for that in Texas.

I used to work at a precast concrete company, and I heard you say that was the area where the cables were attached. They would tension the cables at the one I worked at to like 2500 psi or something like that. So I can see why it would need to be that reinforced. It was for these giant metal forms to make things called T-beds to build parking garages. There were 5 cables about 7/8" with 11 bar tied to them down in the beam part. That was a horrible job tying those to the cable.
