I love that the biggest recurring theme of the Mamma Mia movies is that family comes in lots of shapes. Found family sisters and aunts (the Dynamos), Sophie's three dads, Fernando the 'grandfather before he was potentially revealed to actually be the grandfather', and then Sofia, the old woman who took care of Donna during her pregnancy, essentially an adoptive mother or grandmother.

A mother's love for their children is a very powerful thing but a mother and a daughter is Earth movie I remember every day of my pregnancy with my daughter although I'd had three more children before her my boys who I adore very much but there was something about having my baby girl that made my whole life make sense and to this day 29 years later that feeling has not changed so when you hear this song and my life and my love from this movie you can't do nothing but think back to your baby girl who you carried and held she gave birth to and wanted to share everything with so to moms that are pregnant and has that little girl inside them that is a bomb that can't be broken even though girls become Daddy's girls they can never do without their mom it's just part of life

Perfection-just how I felt and think I even looked when my baby was finally here and handed to me! When the "Slipping Trough My Finger's" is done, I relate SO strongly. And finally, at the Christening-the ethereal dual christenin; I KNOW that. My daughter died. We were so close. Se went through so much, for such a long time-beat 5 brain tumors and 3 surgeries-benign but were killing her. Never complained. Then, she had Multiple, Metastatic stage 4 Adenocarcinoma-and we were together constantly for all of that, too. I went places in the hospital I was told not to-but that was my girl and she needed me so we "worked it out." After the 1st year in the hospital, she became a surgical candidate, which she was not when she got there! I felt as though I was literally pushing life into her and pulling bad things from her. After the 1st year was over and we came home, we had her with us for another 4 years. One day after Christmas she said she felt nauseous. I followed an ambulance to the hospital out of town. She went straight into ICU and I knew it was different this time-and she did too. She was a kind person. She knew who she was. She was very funny and was sweet. She thought of others, always. She was an artist-in several different categories-and Good! She was a light in this world. She lived with intention. She was my girl. I miss my Jenna Rose more than can be said. Our relationship was one of pure love, laughter, creativity, snuggles, security, trust and more Love. This is something I make myself watch from time to time-and it it so "on point." Thank you. First time I saw this movie in HBO, I was 6mos pregnant & cried watching this part. that 6mos I was living overseas where my ex left me pregnant alone since month 1. I dread giving birth alone and no one's hand to hold while giving labor prematurely at 8mos, but thankfully the doctor allowed me to squeeze her arms even if it hurt. I praise the medical staff that were there for me 💗 this movie is very meaningful for me.
