I like how through the whole movie, they were all talking about how they wish Donna was there and how she would be so proud of Sophie for the rebuild/remodel/reopening of the hotel, but the scene where we actually see her is this, showing that, while yes, she was so proud of her for the hotel, this is what Donna had always wanted for her and wanted to be a part of with her: her family and being so happy and coming into her own.

This makes me think of my mother who passed away 9 years ago. I wonder what kind of grandma she would have been to my 3 year old son...am sure she would have been the best. I miss her so much😪....my one and only❣
