Love this! Feeling SO inspired. I am also a fantasy lover who wanted to be a writer growing up, but lost that (and my love of reading for fun) in college. As a new mom I’ve been looking for ways to get back into my old hobbies because I also realized how important it is to my wellbeing. And I just got into the ACOTAR series a few months ago. I’ve been thinking lately of writing a fantasy novel just for fun (letting it be imperfect, knowing it’s just for me). Seeing you do it makes me want to go for it! Also, that app looks so cool. I honestly so appreciate your content, you are a mama of such similar values and go through a lot of the same struggles i do and its honestly so refreshing watching your videos and knowing im not alone. I absolutely love your having a hobby as a mama idea, my husband has been really trying to get me to get back into my hobbies again. I have a work from home job and im right there with you feeling like im always not doing everything i want to do for every role in my life and ending up feeling guilty if i ever take time for myself and my hobbies. I think its a guilt things a lot of moms deal with nowadays with so much pressure to be the perfect role model for our kids when we have so many more roles than i think a majority of society realizes... I totally feel seen in this episode. I'm also a work from home mom of 3 littles, 5, 3, and 10 months (it is so hard and wonderful and overwhelming, so I totally feel you on all of your videos discussing that), and my husband and I have a lot of similarities to you guys (my husband is a big gamer and we're both obsessed with fantasy, reading, we both love nature and gardening, I love anything arts and crafts, etc.). I've also been writing fantasy/romance (and lots of dragons!) stories as far back as I can remember (I have a set I bound myself with scrapbooking paper in high school) and used to love doing nanowrimo, although I never completed it. I haven't touched my writing since before baby #3, but now I'm really inspired to pull my novel back out again. 💕 Also, if you ever need any writing advice, the podcast "Writing Excuses" is phenomenal and features one of our favorite fantasy writers of all time, Brandon Sanderson. :) And I'll definitely have to try that series. I've been looking for some fantasy to read since restarting The Wheel of Time series of the Way of Kings series seems a bit intimidating with my current level of free time. xD

Rowan is usually up early but stays in bed until his clock turns green at 8:15am. Juniper sleeps in big time anywhere from 930-1030 usually. We aim for bedtime around 7/730pm.
