I'm a King Turtle fan myself. I have three different King Turtle models that I love. I realize not everyone likes them.

I thought the same when I put a bracelet on my turtle. Try the watch with the official rubber straps Seiko puts on the turtle, they flare out wider than the lug width and help counter the square shoulder look. I also think the black of the strap compliments the blue of the dial.

Oh, i didn't know that, i'll check at my local Seiko ADs to see if they have any in the rubber strap because i find the bracelet very bad.

Looks good but a I prefer my Great White Shark (srpd21k1) so special in my eyes 👌🏼

I didn't try that one but i tried the PADI version of the turtle, i didn't find it that comfortable, very top heavy and the bracelet didn't seem to hold well unless it's very tight, i quite like the design of this watch but couldn't justify buying one, funny enough i did buy a Citizen Promaster Aqualand on the bracelet and i found it pretty comfortable despite also being top heavy, i'm guessing the bracelet is the issue on the Turtle.

It could well be the bracelet but since I generally prefer wearing my watches on bracelets it makes it a bit tough for me

I've tried others on more than a few times as well as put this one over my wrist and closed the clasp. For me at least, straight away when I see it on wrist I don't like how it looks on mine 🤷

yeah, i never liked the turtle design. the dial is ok but not those shoulders
