Gotta love fibro fog, I’m sorry you hurt your side again have you thought about getting a back support band it will help hold everything in place and maybe help you heal faster!

I had that muscle pain. I went to the doctors thinking I had pneumonia. Hard to breath with it.

whenever I pull a muscle I try and think what different things I'm doing. I usually find I've moved either my monitor or doing some craft that has used other muscles and stressed them so that when I reach for something awkwardly it pulls a muscle and takes months to properly heal again. The last muscle I hurt was in my neck and I realised I'd cleaned up my computer desk and put the monitor on a higher riser than normal. Once I put it back to a height I wasn't straining my neck it healed within a few weeks. Try and think about which muscle you might be straining with and it might have something to do with the scanning you're doing. It could be the tinniest little movement that starts to stress muscles that you don't realise till you actually pull the muscle. I have psoriatic arthritis and recently told I have fibro (wasn't told about the fibro by my rheumy, it was told to me by a nurse who was checking me into the hospital for a colonoscopy)
