The sounds of elk and birds felt very natural within this video, along with the strange non human screams that echoed within the vast wooded area. Props to the sound designer who did an excellent job of creating a very ominous and realistic sense of the lost hiker in the woods.

5:54 If you pause the video at 5:54 and read the files, especially the 2nd one that says The GraceWind Gazette and zoom in, the file mentions the report from a hiker who was hiking with his friends, he separated for a while, and claims to have seen “bigfoot” but he heard his friends calling back to him. When he returned to them the friends say they had not noticed he was gone and they never called him. This plus the first bad ending Brad got which mention the malevolent entity mimics people’s voices confirms the person you are speaking with is actually the goatman. Also DO YOU COPY which is the title of the game is the biggest hint about it. The entity copying the voices. My theory is that the “normal” voice you hear is the goatman and the distorted voices are the dead people in the woods telling you to run away and not help it.

Yeah, i believe the person you're talking to is the goatman. That's why the same voice keeps saying creepy stuff. Then when you help the "hiker" get to your tower, the same voice says to run in a creepy "i caught you" way, then the goatman appears. Because the "hiker" is the goatman trying to trick you into leading it right to you

Ending explained here In the last ending the creature, the goat man mimics the voice of the lost hiker. It demands your location, you didn't flash your towerlights so it got frustrated that it didn't get to know your location. A couple seconds later the real hiker comes back and says "thank you" for saving him. That's why that moment was a bit confusing.

So it could be just me, but after your 2nd playthrough, I noticed how aggravated the hiker sounds after you lead him to the empty tower - I have a feeling that this "hiker" is actually the goatman thing and is just salty that you tricked him out of a meal lol
