We went to the top of that monument in 1997. That was my 1st time in Jakarta. I went again in 2009. Finally we will be going back again in February of 2025. I can't wait to see the changes. Of course this time I'm bringing my trusty portable translator,so I can speak with folks this time. Any suggestions on what to do or see in February, I would be greatful. Great video my man! Basically, Jakarta is not a tourist city like Bangkok or KL but more of a business city, so few tourists visit Jakarta so it's naturally that you will see local taking photos with foreigners. It's different if you go to Bali, Jogjakarta and other tourist cities which are used to the presence of foreigners. still enjoy your day in the big Durian Jakarta
