How do people dispose of e.g. a bit of fat after frying bacon? And do vegetable oils count or is it only grease that's solid at room temperature?

@@CampGareth Wipe the most of it with a paper towel, use lots of dish soap and hot water for cleaning the pan. Use 3 table spoons of cleaning soda dissolved in some hot water on the sink once a month.

@@CampGareth We have a jar that we pour the hot grease into when frying bacon or hamburgers. When the jar gets full, throw it out and start over again.

Canada here, in my current house I found over 20 ft of kitchen drain line full of grease from the previous owner. It was running across the basement furnace room ceiling so I cut it out and replaced the pipe work.

I'll begin by saying I can't explain why but please don't speed the video up. I may speak for others but we love the struggle. We love the surprise of the blockage finally emerging from the pipe. I might have done this in a different life but I didn't in this one. I am totally and abashedly unashamed to admit I love watching these videos. And others as well. I never tire of the struggle and I love watching something I haven't seen before get fixed so easily by someone who knows what they're doing. I constantly ask myself what would I have have done and usually the answer is I have no idea how to do that but it looks easy from here. Keep it up - shoot everything - we love every frame of what you do. And by the way, Perth is beautiful!!
