Hello guys,
Here is my short video report from visiting Auschwitz. On January 27, 1945, soldiers of the 60th Army of the First Ukrainian Front opened the gates of KL Auschwitz. Prisoners welcomed Soviet soldiers as genuine liberators. The paradox of history meant that soldiers who were formally representatives of Stalinist totalitarianism brought freedom to the prisoners of Hitler's totalitarianism. Unfortunately, when I entered the camp site my go pro broke and I could not record any more. But I thought it will be interesting for you to see anyway. May this horror never happen again. Shalom

Stuff like this breaks my heart!!! If I remember correctly, some of the Jews in Rome, Italy that lived in the Jewish Ghettos were transported to this place. In a few months my wife and I will be going to Rome and one location I MUST visit is the Jewish ghettoes. In front of some doors are gold bricks on the ground with names carved into them commemorating those Jews who lived there. As mentioned in this video, humanity has yet to learn from these crimes against Yhwh chosen people. Shalom my friend!

When I was stationed in West Germany, I visited Dachau and Bergen Belsen. The shock was unbelievable. Complete silence that was actually scary, not a bird flying over the mass graves, no sound from anywhere close. I could not go to Poland where you are now because of the Cold War. Today, I find myself too old to visit such a place without getting very emotional. Thank you for the tour and I can imagine what was going through your own mind while doing this film. God bless your work and you’re so right when you say that humanity has learned nothing. I pray for a strong Israel and a quick end to the present struggle.

I cried in the classroom when was in Elementary when we were told about it in History class. My teacher asked me why I was upset. I told her that it shows just how mean people are. I was crying because my heart was breaking for the Jewish families that died and the ones that lived and had to see the pain they went through. I saw the holocaust museum in Washington DC years ago, I walked in a room where their shoes were piled up, hair was in boxes, clothes my heart was so broken. I still pray for Israel, the hostages, military, and the people for protection and the war to be over where they return to their families. Thank you for sharing this video.

I'm Polish. This is the weather that dominates on Poland from november to april - its fucking depressing, there is not much sun in those months. Imagine you're being prisoner there at that time - what kind of misery that can be. Father of my grandmother from my father side also was in working camps and he never came back. He was Polish by the way. He wasnt in auschwitz/birkenau. What usually is not mentioned is that there were many more nations in death camps than just Jews. It's really sad. The suffering of other nations as Gypsies or Polish are forgotten.
@broz1488
@broz1488 3 ай бұрын
No one has forgotten. Everyone who was taught about the Holocaust at school, was taught about others besides Jews who were also killed in the death camps. It's not like it's a secret. But perhaps so many Poles in general were killed by both Germans and Russians in WWII, that the Poles killed in the concentration camps pale by comparison. I'm sure you do have WWII memorable events in Poland. So why do you say that it's forgotten?
@retirosierra
@retirosierra 3 ай бұрын
Gypsies nor Poles nor German dissidents are forgotten. What set the jews apart, was that the machinery was meant to completely eradicate them as people. Only today they are back at the number they were before 1940 (same number btw they've been forever). To set up a whole industry with that aim, turn it into conveyor belt, is what is so shocking. That was not the aim for Poles. I wish you good luck with the weather 😊. Do know that 300 days of non-stop sun, gets truly depressing and insufferable too, after 20 years of that, you go "oh nooo, again"! It shreds your eyes to pieces, makes your skin irritable, etc. I luuv videos of rain and grey 😅

Well, not really, forgotten, just not spoken about as much, I guess. While it's true that several million non-Jews also, died in these places, the focus still, was on Jewish people. But yes, you are correct; ALL, the stories should be told. Don't forget all the Gays who died in these places as well. Another group not talked about much, outside the Gay Community.
@retirosierra
@retirosierra 3 ай бұрын
@@ivanj.conway9919 I'm gay and ME I don't think about the gay people 🙂. Because it never was family or an ancestor, I take it. Or besides some bedroom decoration there's not much in common, or not more, say, than other web designers, or other hikers - or German political dissidents for that matter, or intellectuals, etc etc. I think that with jews, it's the whole STORY line, I mean for thousands of years the same, forever bigger, as the bolero of Ravel. At any rate, surpassing something. As you say, nobody is forgotten, just not talked about as much, besides the own communities.

@@retirosierra : I guess, the overall, lesson that all thinking people with heart and a conscience should take away from all of this is the vital, importance of accepting DIVERSITY, in society. I'm not sure how much choice a person has in being Jewish, but we know now, one really, has no choice in being Gay. If Gays and Lesbians were organized like Jewish People, and we claimed we had some special role/status in society, maybe we might be persecuted to the same extent as Jewish People have been, down through the ages. This does not mean that Gayness and the existence of Gay People does not go back as far as the earliest start of the Jewish People, because it does and far beyond. Gayness/Homosexuality, has existed within the Human Species for as long as the Human Species has existed. It is by no means, a new thing at all, as certain religious extremist would have us believe. It's just, merely, another genetic variant, nothing more. Perfectly natural. I guess, where it becomes poignant and personal for me, is that if I were Gay at this time, in this place, I could have quite likely, ended up in one of these camps myself. Any of us could. We are so, insanely, fortunate to have been born when and where we have been, to have the levels of freedom and protection we currently, enjoy. This of course, does not exist everywhere in the world, particularly in muslim nations, and something that could be taken away from us at any point, which is why we must always, remain vigilant. But my own, personal, experiences, sort of, help me to get a feel for what it must be like for Jewish People, Black People, and any suppressed and persecuted group of people in society, really. Intolerance is flat out, evil and must end everywhere in the world, as quick as possible. The only difference with this current, situation with Israel and Gaza is that you have a culture and religion that seeks tolerance and acceptance, but refuses to offer it itself, in the countries where it is in control. The world needs to wake up to this and the extreme, danger this poses for all of us. Agreed? Much Love and Warmest Wishes. Out For Now.

Thank you, my brother. I spent my senior year of high school studying the Holocaust only. I had transferred from a private school into public and needed no more history credits so they let me study what I wanted. I was not a believer at that time. I was raised by atheists but my father was an immigrant from Germany and he encouraged me in my study. As I researched, the Lord brought many people into my life who could testify second hand of the horrors their family suffered. My life and heart was never the same. It was a brutal awakening to the horror of man’s inhumanity to man. I cannot imagine visiting in person such a place. I have been to the Holocaust museum in D.C and brought my children. I would not spare them. I want them to be wise and not fools! #neveragainisnow

It was a traumatic experience and I have never forgotten one detail about it - including the smell of burnt human skin & bones eternally permeating the wooden planks of the death chambers!!! 😭 I cried all the way through Europe and all the way back to America (which took months). It forever changed my life and I knew in the depths of my soul and heart ♥️ that I had Jewish ancestors, which I found to be true with that information in 2020. Baruch HaShem for you dear sir! Thank you for sharing this. We went there August 2016. It wasn't planned but our itinerary changed during our visit to Germany. A year later I learned my Jewish grandfather was a Holocaust victim. It was a divine appointment to go there and witness the horrors that happened. So few people go. We filmed the area and took pictures. The train car with no windows that you point to is forever in my mind. People were crammed into them with no light and hardly any air and were brought for miles to that horrible place. If anyone who reads this has never been there and travels you need to see it for yourself. We need to show the world what happened and compare it to what's happening now again!

A couple month's back Adonai told me to look back into the Holocaust and do some research. I also watched Schindler's list for the first time because I never thought I could manage to watch it before. I also looked at many interviews with survivors. I had also looked up the way people could go along with it back in 2020 and saw that the same strategy of propoganda was used which is being used today as well. You are so right when you say the world has learned nothing. That is the same thought I've had also. Many are still very gullible and easily persuaded by lies. What is important though is that the Jewish people have learned and prepared to defend themselves. For that I am truly grateful. But even so my trust is in Adonai to keep you and alll His people safe in these very serious times we're living in.

Sorry about your camera. I have a GoPro camera as well, and it acts up continually, also. I have no idea why they are still on the market, really. So very sorry it went all screwy on you at this point, as I'm sure this was an important video for you and I would have liked to have seen more, as well. You really, give a good, sense of how truly, massive this place is, and this was one of hundreds I believe, all over Poland and other countries too, making the claims of the Holocaust that much more believable. I will be 60 in another year and a half or so, and have been researching the Holocaust since I was a kid, but find I can only, dabble in it because if I get into it too much, for too long, it starts to effect me. The images get seared in my mind and I have flash backs, sort of, in the most inconvenient moments. Those who choose to deny this ever happened are evil to the core as far as I'm concerned. Being a largely, Gay Male myself, I have some sense of what it is like to live in a world where you are not understood or wanted, but hatred toward Jewish People seem to be at a whole, different level. I can't imagine what it must be like to be Jewish knowing so much of the world feels this way about you, which is one reason why I'm such a strong and passionate supporter of Israel and Jewish People now. You truly, are an insanely, strong and resilient people, I must say. Much Love and Continued Support. Out For Now. 💙🤍💙🫂❤‍🔥😔

Thank you sir, yes it was a big disapointment for me that the camera broke. It turned out it needed an update and after I updated it looks like its working fine now. Thanks for you comment and your support of Israel. Shalom

@@IsraelMyChannel : Hello My Brother. Thanks So Much, for taking a moment to reply. Very Much Appreciated. Always great to have feedback from content providers that I'm interested in. Hope you are well. Yes, regarding those GoPro, Video, Cameras; I bought a GoPro Silver, around, four years ago now. I believe, that's the third, most, expensive one, with two others supposedly, of better quality, with more options, but I question that actually, given the experience I've had with mine. Mine only, records with the fish eye effect, and I hate it with a passion, as it distorts everything. Mine acts up in all sorts of ways, and always, keeps shutting off for no, apparent, reason. Extremely, annoying indeed. I have found that it is helpful to turn off your camera after each recording, and do the updateing thing regardless, before you begin another recording, and that may help to cut down the number of times your camera shuts off like that. I have found also, that I am unable to operate my camera in temperatures above 20 odd, degrees Celsius, as it overheats and shuts off for that reason, as well, which is crazy as they advertise the product as something you can use in extreme, weather, conditions. A bit of false advertisement there, if you ask me. Yes, I so hope you get another chance to do this, as this subject matter could not be more important again, with everything going on in the world, currently. I could not help but feel this extremely, oppressive, feel of the place as you were heading toward the camp, so can't even, begin to imagine what it must have been like for the poor souls who died there, when it was operating at its peak. I watched another video after yours, where the maker of the video claimed that after almost, 80 odd, years now, not even, half the stories have yet, been told, and that could very well, be true. I can't begin to imagine the feelings you must have been feeling as you were going through this place. Have you been to the "Dome of the Ashes" yet? Not sure if that's the official title of it. It's also, in Poland, not sure which city now, and is maybe, the most powerful memorial I've seen yet, and that is merely, from looking at it over a video. I can't begin to imagine what it must be like to be there in person, knowing this massive pile of ashes were once thousands and thousands of living, breathing, thinking, hoping, dreaming, human beings. A very poignant and sobering memorial, indeed. I so, hope Israel is able to work through its current, difficulties and is allowed/permitted to reach its full potential. For all of its existence, and because of the obstacles against it almost, from day one; I feel that Israel has yet, to reach its Golden Period, it's Golden Hour of its existence. You have not even, existed for a century yet, as the Modern State you have currently, incarnated as, and you have achieved and done so much already, with almost, everything working against you, continually. I can't even, begin to imagine what you could achieve if the rest of the Middle East stop seeking to destroy you and you had the full, backing of the world at large, finely. Not only Jews wish for this, but I believe most of the Christian World does, as well. Brother, you continue to have a passionate and loyal supporter in this Canadian. I wish I could think of ways to help to turn things around in favour of Israel and her people. Currently, all I can think of to do is to battle all the propaganda against you, all over this site here, and that is proving to be a full time job, in and of itself. Much Love and Warmest Wishes. God Keep and Preserve Israel, Forever. Out For Now. 🥰🖐🏼😔

I don’t think I can ever go there, my heart sinks every time I see it on tv and I cry for days. My inspiration is with Anne Frank. It’s a dark time in history so many of our people died and suffered so much. Brutality.

God bless you, bro thank you,for you work,the blessing of God be upon you,an all who are listening.what a deeply sorrow to hear and see what the people of God are suffering in this diabolic times,like you said same happened in October 7.but the glorious,and peaceful rest where my soul finds peace,is in the Bible...in Revelation 6:9...And when he had opened the fith seal,I saw under the altar the soul of them that were slain fir the word of God,and for the testimony which they held. this is my resting place,God is with us,God is with Israel !!!

I had a relative that was murdered here. Not worth it. Bad is bad. Dont let her fool you. You will be sorry around the world. Thats my message. Why would I lie about anything? You want death, then play her game. This is their end game; not mine.

I visited Dachau. Shall never forget it. As I entered, an elderly woman fell and died of a heart attack right in front of me……Everyone then “continued their tours.” I stood there for a while, thinking of all the lives that awful place--and countless others like it--had claimed…I also thought of the thriving little German town surrounding this archetype of the concentration camp. And of how German citizens *still* go thoughtlessly about their “business,” ignoring the HORRORS they *knew* took place every second behind those walls…Germany can NEVER be “redeemed,” NEVER “forgiven.” Its penance should last until the end.

In the U.S. what was happening at those concentration camps was largely considered myth until the U.S. Army liberated those camps.

My father served in the US Army during WWII and was part of a group that came upon Gardelagen. The scenes were horrendous. The Germans were on the run at this point and were Killing Jewish prisoners as quickly as they could, wherever they could. There was no one left when they arrived. It was a horrible massacre. I will not describe what he told me here, but it was more than I wanted to hear. It is important to remember though and to make sure our children and grandchildren know the horrors that took place so they can understand why Israel MUST deal with Hamas the way they are being dealt with. Never again!

No they haven’t learned the sad thing is that they don’t see is we are all made in our Yeshuas image. The devil will always chase after the Jewish people because we are close to God. ❤
