I appreciate the effort you put in the video! In all honesty, you cover 1% of what Bulgaria is. It's so much more complex than that.. Anyways, a few things to mention: - Bulgaria is the third most visited Balkan country, after Greece and Turkey. - Plovdiv is one of the most economically booming zones in the Balkans. Its population in reality is around 800k, not 350.. - Bulgaria is one of the most powerful IT hubs in Europe - Life in Bulgaria is extremely underrated. People often have a higher standard of life compared to the West without realising it. - "Even nature" I cite you. Bulgaria has amazing and very diverse nature for its size. - A Brit, moved to live in Bulgaria, applied for Bulgarian citizenship opened my eyes. He saw what we have, what most of us take for granted. It is a national trait of Bulgarians to be Bulgarophobic. They often leave in a pursuit for a better life, only to have abandoned a good one and embrace a new, miserable one. "Grass is always greener on the other side" It's all the same everywhere in the this sense - your success depends entirely on you and no government, no laws and whatsoever. You could say that reality in the Balkans is quite similar with some local variety but if you want to make your life good, you can do it 100x easier here. I can write so much more, but I'll end here. An appeal to my country folk: if you're Bulgarophobic and don't live here, don't even try to bash what we have. Some of us are here and fighting for what we should have. Thank you all! (Btw, these rules apply to all Balkan countries) Much love to all my Balkan brethren!!!

You forgot about another one of the popular tourist destinations, that being Nessebir: a beautiful ancient city dating Its' history all the way back to the Byzantine era. It is located on an island close the the coast, connected by a single bridge to the hotel-filled mainland part of the city and the so-called 'Golden Sands'. The city is actually part of UNESCO's World Heritage. I met a local there that also spoke Polish very fluently. We had a long talk about the state of the world and all. Overall a great experience.

Its fun how he keeps playing completely different than our traditional music, which is currently used across the world for many backgrounds and epic compositions. Furthermore, I do love how he covers our rich history that goes several millennia ago even if the country itself was officially created 6-7th century AD but we've existed since before Christ. And a few places you should have definitely visited beside Varna, Burgas, Plovdiv and Sofia. Rila Monastery being one of the things that you should have definitely visited and also, I strongly recommend to the snow sports enthusiasts to visit Bansko during winter. We have one of the most beautiful houses up there for truly relaxing moments and enjoying mountains of endless snow.

Small correction though about the spiritual capitol. Most of the people consider it to be Veliko Tarnovo, not Plovdiv. The entire region of Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo and Shipka is basically where the true Bulgarian spirit lays and if you visit in the Summer or in the Winter, you can feel it in the air. It's impossible to describe with words, it has to be experienced.

This might be unpopular, but I prefer the appartment blocks to the American system with houses everywhere. 1)Better for the town infrastructure. More stuff and people, concentrated in shorter, walkable distances. Convenient, saves time, and better for young people's social lives. 2) Appartements are cheaper and easier to maintain. One of the biggest complaints of Americans are the unaffordable housing prices, yet for some reason they still insist on living in houses, as if they're "too good" for appartments. 3) Security reasons. You're less likely to be broken into, robbed or worse, if you live in a random appartment on the 4th floor, than if you live in a house out in the open, with so many reachable windows. And they're not as bad as Americans think. Appartment can be very spacious with a balcony and a nice views and still cost cheaper than a house of the same internal size.
