Basically there's no real warranty in India because of weak consumer laws. Google is a classic example of providing repair service without having a physical service center and the only solution for any type of problem is replacing the motherboard which costs as much as a new phone

I had been to xaiomi service centre and samsung service centre in the same area in Bangalore indranagar there was drastic difference between the two companies, xaiomi was useless at the end of the day , samsung was really good very satisfied with the way the communicated to resolve the problems . But i guess it really does matter in which area you get the phone serviced .

Samsung in Bangalore Indira nagar will behave like gentlemen.In Vadodara Gujarat they have harrased me for 15 days for the green line issue by making me go to service centre 4 times and after 15 days giving me a reply,without even checking my phone ,that they don't know why when my phone was in pristine condition sudden green line has appeared and that since it is out of warranty they won't do anything about it This issue is happening with lot of Samsung phone displays. please spread it as much in social media and let's all stop buying Samsung phones now onwards.

I have been following your content since 2020. Your work is worth appreciation. In this video, we could learn some theories and the vibes of the customer center to customers. Though this video does not give any practical example of warranty claims. I wish, you could go deeper into this matter and actually claim warranties as much service center as possible.

I have a Poco X2. It's back camera glasses were broken. I went to the service center and told them to get it done. After it was repaired, they left out some bits of glasses inside the new glass. In their defence, they didn't open the back and replace, rather they just took the shards out and placed a new glass. Now after it was done, i checked the main camera and the auto focus was not working. I was honest about my Custom ROM and they adviced me to go back to the global ROM and check. After doing that, they told me that they'll have to change the whole camera. They took it under warranty and cleared the shards which were present when the phone was repaired. Now, they forced me to keep the phone there for a week for both the repairs. So 2 weeks in the store. At first they let me take my phone home and told me to come when the parts arrive. But didn't get a call for a month and when I went there, they were angry on me. In their defence, they did note my number wrong once on the service chart, which I had notified them to change. Secondly, I believe the previous shards were physically blocking the lens movement for the focus. IDK, I'm just speculating here. Recently I had to open up the back cover as my phone went dead when it was connected to PC and rebooted. I checked the internals and I couldn't help but notice that the camera seems untouched. As in the copper tape was still intact..... I think the service center should, on demand, either let the customer see the repair or atleast give an option for the customer to watch their phone getting repaired through video stream

I once got a really good service from xiaomi. She declared my phone as DEAD(and asked me if xiaomi technical team calls me I should say its not turning on) while it was just a software issue and got me a new device. The phone was mi 11x.

5:04 This same thing is with Apple, my Macbook's display got broken when a train seat fell on it, I still used it with an external display as it costed us 65K and they wanted 38K for the display, when its port and fingerprint stopped working, they didn't cover those issues under warranty unless I would pay them for the display. I had to pay them as the laptop was only two months old.

@@GyanTherapy I already used this tactic for my faulty OnePlus Charging Adaptor. It got accidentally shirt circuit (idk how). They checked it and told me ki ye short circuit ho gaya hai hum aapke Case k liye apne Technical Team se puchenge, agar wo agree karenge to hum aapka charger theek kar denge. They finally agreed and even provided me with a new Adaptor that would have cost me Rs.1550 /- . The service is excellent as it all got done within 5-7 days of my complain.

Mera manna hai ki budget phone customers ko phone ke sath hi tempered glass + bumper case (jo ki edges pr extra thick hota hai) le hi lena chahiye. Bina wajah bahaduri dikhao aur phone galti se gir jaye to ek baar ke damage repair me hi tempered + case ke price ka 3-4 guna paisa kharch krna pad jayega aur aajkal ke sealed phones ek baar service centre pr heat gun se khol diye gaye to unki reliability khatam.

Par jab main service centre le gya aur unhone check Kiya aur display change karke free of cost phone sahi karke Diya. Par ha phone par scratch nahi tha nahi water damage tha . To hamare yaha oppo ki service sahi hai 👍👍

10:05 I'm also an user of Galaxy A52s and the same colour and I am also facing the same issue with my phone the watertight seal might be coming off by itself and the colour is also fading. My wife have the A52 which doens't have this issue and I clean the phones time to time with IPA and both have spigen armour case, so it proves that heat and chemical isn't a issue. I am using a skin to hide it but it seems like quality issue

In my experience, my device had a scratch on the power button/ fingerprint sensor, and after the resolution they even filled that scratch and it was very less visible now he told they tried to hide the scratch ( official service centre guy), my experience was good, it was a Xiaomi service centre

Same happened to a guy when I was buying a one plus - his screen had internal black spots occurring and they were increasing, there was no other physical damage to the phone , just some scratches because he didn't use screen guard,so one plus rejected his request saying that those scratches are your doing so if we change your screen those scratches which is not one plus fault will be repaired too, therefore you should pay for it. This was literal logic given to this guy at OnePlus, Lucknow service center and I was blown away by the attitude of those people, invest your money wisely people

Last week, I visited oneplus service center because the glu on my oneplus nord display panel fell out. It didn't even get dropped or anything happened to it. I was playing a game while sleeping and it came out, but the service center refused to retrieve it, saying they would have to replace the entire panel, which would cost 10500. My phone was not under warranty, and I tried to convince them, but they said no company repairs this kind of damage, so I had to get it repaired locally for 50 rupees.

My Redmi note 7 pro was denied warranty as it was one day past one year from the date of placing the order. However, I argued that the phone was delivered 4 days after the order, so technically its not one year. They denied showing me their terms. They were correct though, as per warranty rules, the date of order is considered for calculating one year. However, another big service centre told me that sometimes they consider the delivery date as well if they wish. Its up to the customer care personnel. I wish I could visit the 2nd service centre first and save Rs. 3600.

I also faced a similar issue with Samsung, I was using M51. My back panel plastic was coming out due to the heat generated in the phone while using it. I am using multiple phones in the same condition where I live, but this problem was with that particular device. I am neither a new user nor a heavy one. From my experiences using multiple mobile phones, I can say that the above-mentioned issue was a clear example of a manufacturing defect. Another reality is who cares to argue with customer care representatives, better switch to other good brands like Nokia or iPhone. I have a better experience with these two brands.

Mainly OnePlus is doing silly reasons because my friend's OnePlus 8t got 2 vertical lines after the update given by OnePlus and we visited service center and they are saying it's a physical damage as my friend's phone have cracks on back panel and we showed all the people are facing same line issue and they are refusing to do service

In warrenty free me servicing chaiye to there is always a scope for conflict between you & the service center. Koi na koi reason de k wo reject karna chahenge.... Bcs nowadays this is the work of a service center.

i have been through this exact thing. I have an entire thread of emails between Samsung and me. I escalated it to the regional manager. They refused the warranty only because of a tini tiny dent. The issue was with display. Phone : S20 FE 5G. Eventually I got it replaced for free

My poco X3 pro.. suddenly bricked motherboard at 92 percent charging. And motherboard costed 12k and they only provided 3mnth warrenty. It was hard to find service centre and motherboard..even for them.

I want to add some more tips if the brand is denying warranty repairs First of all email the brand and request to repair If that doesn't work, directly login to consumer forum of goverment,sign up and registered a grievance And then see the magic of repair There are 90% chances brand legal team will call you and ask to take back the complaint,do not close the complaint untill the phone is repaired
