Don’t get me wrong; as a Carlisle fan of over 40 years I am delighted to see Wrexham back. Equally I’d be pleased to see Darlo, Bury, Oldham, Chesterfield, York and Hartlepool back. Wrexham are the new Salford now; just wait for the FA cup, straight away Wrexham will be on TV. Just like this game being televised.

To be fair, Wrexham is a club with a lot of history in the EFL and a few times throughout their history were in the championship equivalent division Salford was basically just a small club which were always well down the pyramid with an average attendance of only a few hundred people, they were always small and as far as I know, were never in league football beforehand.
