@@nicestoriesnottherealstori3006 Itll still be some time before theyre at the premiere league, even if they get promoted every year from now on, we're still talking 3 years. Ryan Renolds is oroving to be a shrewd and effective businessman. The bigger deal isnt the net worth of the 2 actors however, its the exposure they bring to the club. Through the documentary and the reach of the actors, hes brought MAJOR money into a previously national league club (there is zero way Expedia would ever sponsor a national league club otherwise). This seems to be a big part of their plan given every interview about the club they discuss their plans of increasing exposure. We even had famous Croatian players in our club on loan from Dinamo Zagreb, like Modrić, Eduardo Da Silva, Lovren, Ćorluka... Couple of years ago some wealthy investors were about to buy the club and save it, but the pandemic changed everything, the deal didn't go through and the club is gone. 😢

Fantastic video Neve. I love Wrexham story and I hope the club does will. I am one of the football fans that will never wish ill on any club. It's the love of football above all not the love for a club or a town.

This was one of the best summaries of the Wrexham story I’ve seen. Thank you.

As an American, I don't really understand football that well, but I really love the sense of pride that I see surrounding this club.

Great vid. As someone who has been a Liverpool supporter from overseas since I was a wee tyke, it almost seems somewhat natural that I'm now also supporting AFC Wrexham as well given their close proximity geographically. The backstory of the club and all its up and downs over the years really resonated with me.

I was fortunate enough to see Wrexham play here in North Carolina. Me and my sons had a blast. It would be awesome to see them play at home. What a fantastic mini documentary and commentary on the team and town. Well done.

Fantastic video. As a Wrexham fan your storytelling was absolutely brilliant. You seem to have a real passion for it. Hopefully come Saturday evening we can party again, back where we belong! Up the town 🔴⚪️

What a lovely post, a lot of people like me (Ipswich fan) have been sold into Wrexham's romantic story. If they don't make a film about it,it would be criminal!

I had a lump in my throat at times watching that Disney series about them. They chose absolutely wonderful fan representatives to talk about the club. Recommend it if you haven’t watched already!

When you mentioned about the disaster of 1934, I actually went down Gresford pit a year before they closed it that was 1973, quite amazing 50 years ago, but the two new owners have done a wonderful job of uniting the Wrexham area they are honest, sincere, and generally interested and concerned with the future of the football club.

While having your profile picture as Margaret Thatcher, I hope you realise how offensive it is to even mention Welsh miners.

@@WILLIAM1690WALES Christ, you're one of them too. Do yourself a favour and don't talk about miners again. Thankfully Wrexham fans for the most part are glad she's rotting in the mud.

Just found your channel and I'm so glad I did. I appreciate your knowledge and passion for football! I, as an American, am learning just what football (not throwball) means to each club's supporters. Thank you for the wonderful and enlightening content!

You hit the nail on the head with what clubs need are honest owners. All we want as fans as is that the people we trust who run our club love them as much as we do. First time viewer but loved the content and subbed

What a great video Nieve! I recognised your youtube handle, but wasn't sure where from, and was about to comment how Wrexham's situation reminded me very much of the takeover/salvation of my own club, Bolton. How it brought the town together and got fans back together behind the team and gave us something to believe in, both on the pitch and off - our chairperson is the gift that keeps on giving. Then I looked at your previous videos and realised you miiiiiiight already have drawn the same comparisons :D Awesome video, hope for more of the same. Best of luck with the channel; subbed!

Really enjoyed watching this particularly for the passion. This is what football is all about. As a Brighton fan my son and I used to go in February in the lower levels of the Championship with the wind and the drizzle but it was worth it. Keep believing , that's what association football is all about. Have followed and looking forward to more!

I'm hoping that Rob and Ryan have set off a chain of events that would show that smart business investors would make more money by actually investing into these clubs just as they have. If they stick to their business model, they would not only transformed Wrexham into a popular football destination, they would have doubled or tripled their money in a short period of time. Not only have they put the spotlight onto Wrexham, but also on club owners across the UK.

not only the UK, the whole of Europe has similar stories to Wrexham and clubs either dying or nearly dying because of dishonest owners.
