I'm from Moscow, have been in Nizhniy Novgorod several times. And it's my top 3 cities in Russia. Such a great place to walk, live and enjoy fascinating views. Btw I enjoyed watching your video, you're great narrator, so relaxed voice and poetic descriptions!) I think you deserve at least 10 times more subscribers. Из России с любовью ❤

I accidentally came across your channel and enjoyed watching this video so much! I’m from Russia, and this year I had the opportunity to visit Nizhny Novgorod for the first time. So many unforgettable memories… I was captivated by the sunsets and the stunning views from the embankments! Your video reminded me of those emotions, and it felt like I was there once again! Thank you, please continue creating more content!

Well, as the resident of Nizhniy Novgorod i can say that Christmas ( Stroganov ) church is my very favorite one. It is called Stroganov church because it was built at the expense of a NN merchant Stroganov who made this gift to the city. He died early and his widow finished the work after him . The name of the street was taken from this church in fact as it was the main attraction then .

Wow! That’s my favorite too. Thanks for this crucial addition to the video. By the way, I haven’t uploaded the video about nightlife in Nizhny Novgorod yet. I might want to ask for your help with some information, and I hope you’ll respond. Thanks a lot!

About the monument to Minin and Pozharskiy , we have one more monument to Kozma Minin right on the Minin square. In fact the monument to Minin and Pozharskiy belongs to NN much more to NN because this is the place where Peoples Militia happened , and where the Noble prince Pozharskiy and a very simple peasant Minin united both nobility and simple people against Polish intervention. And they had their meetings at the walls of Nizhniy Novgorod Kremlin. We have lots of places ( university, srreets , etc) dedicated to Minin . The simple man who saved the world of Russia then in those times. ❤

How do you like Russia transportation system in general?
@vlogstar_yt3 ай бұрын
Transportation system here is quite extensive and widely used by the masses. For example, the metro system is one of the best, if not the best, in the world, while the buses cover most essential routes. When compared to the transportation systems of other countries I’ve visited, I find the Russian system to be superior.
@williamblake73863 ай бұрын
@@vlogstar_yt Great. Now tell it to russians, they seems unaware of what they did 😛 Could you also name a few "other", preferably most developed countries, you've been at?
@true_xander3 ай бұрын
@@williamblake7386that resentment is mostly due to the fact that in some cities, mostly in the small ones, the transportation situation is pretty dire. Bus lines are cancelled or replaced with tiny rusty marshrutka's (micro busses for 12-20 passengers), trolley bus and team lines are dismantled and people have major difficulties getting through their cities if not having a car.
@williamblake73863 ай бұрын
@@true_xander Sorry, i do not understand the situation. Foreigners and immigrants admire russian transport, i saw it, youtube told me, many times. Big city, not so big, any kind. But russians are unhappy with it because in some small cities bus lines are cancelled?
