1961? That means when they first opened, they were selling copies of Fantastic Four #1 for cover price!

Thanks for the support! @bronzeandmoderngods is such a great channel, their content is awesome and informative. It's always a priviledge and joy when I get chance to hang out with both Richard and John on their show. Love how we geek out on obscure books and get to share our respective stories, perspectives and knowledge.

I've been there many times they really don't sell high grade stuff there
@StillOnly35c9 ай бұрын
Thanks for sharing your experience! I did look at the some of books and whilst they weren't particularly high grade, they did have a decent smattering of cool vintage books. A lot of people were coming in looking for books to fill there runs.

It's not a comic store, it's a collectibles store
@StillOnly35c9 ай бұрын
Yeah, you are right, there are collectibles, but they do have some cool comic books, both modern and vintage, so it still qualifies.

Not really a comic book store anymore. It looks like a pop culture store that sells some comics.
@StillOnly35c5 ай бұрын
Very true David youtube.com/@davidmckinley5343, but I suppose every store has to pivot pop culture to be successful/stay in business. That said, there are still comics on sale, both new and vintage, so it still counts.
@davidmckinley53435 ай бұрын
@@StillOnly35c I agree. Comic Stores would go out of business without the pop sales. The place did look really cool even though they didn't really have a lot of comics.
