I grew up in Rocky Hill and I've walked the D&R canal so many times and never seen a skunk act like that, so I think you were right to run! Look at the stuff he’s wearing. Why would anyone look at him and think he’s worth their time? And a lot of the people up there are either dealing, chilling, or on some kind of sedative. So barely anyone he has to worry about. His only issue might be the people on stimulants, but they’re usually very obvious, not high in numbers, and easily avoidable by taking the right routes, as they’re usually too paranoid to stick on main streets for very long. TL;DR: Almost everyone he passes by doesn’t care about him.

There's also a ton of biking around here, there's dozens of bike paths and trails. Many of them are old rail trails or canals. It's a great area of the country if you like walking or biking.

Loved this video. Great chaotic editing and your walk was quite the accomplishment. The skunk chasing you was wild lol. Subbed to the channel and looking forward to more videos!
