They were straight acting by that point. Even Kristin Cavallari said the whole epic fight between her and Audrina over Justin Bobby was staged. "IT'S ON BITCH" They didn't even hate each other in real life. The producers told them to act like they do and start fighting over Justin even though Audrina was already over him by that point.

That's the problem, Heidi used Lauren from day one. They met in school when Lauren went to San Fran and then moved in with her family when she came back to Laguna after not enjoying life and school in northern California. Then MTV moved forward with a Laguna Spinoff with Lauren and cast Heidi. All Heidi wanted was to be rich and famous. Lauren treated her as family, Heidi saw Lauren as vehicle to the life she always wanted. Having money and being famous! That's why she took Spencer's side.

I hate girls like that where they literally think their shit don’t stink and are fucking spoiled. The show made Kristin look like a villain but I think she was right on about Lauren.

Heidi would’ve had a completely different life if she didn’t meet Spencer. She was best friends with Lauren, happy, carefree… Spencer made her destroy friendships, burn bridges… And I don’t know what men would let their wife or future wife have 50 plastic surgery procedures in your early 20s, in one sitting. she never looked the same after that. Spencer is still desperate for fame and trying to get attention… They never made anything of themselves… Yeah… I wonder if Heidi realizes that she settled in the worst way. They live at spencers parents house - can’t even afford their own home. Meanwhile, Lauren has build an empire. How very sad.

I love Lauren , her character is so real and has been throughout all of The Hills . I love how she was such a good friend to Heidi , when Heidi was not a good friend to her . Heidi should've left Spencer the time he started these rumors , but the fact that Heidi kept being with him throughout all of that makes me believe that Heidi and Lauren should not have been friends at all . Lauren has been through so much and she didn't have to suffer throughout all of this but since Heidi and her were best friends for so long , she only wanted her best friend back . i honestly believe that things could've been better if Spencer was never in the picture to begin with . But i give props to Lauren ending that friendship with Heidi . If Heidi can't leave a guy who treats their best friend like garbage , then Lauren is better off without Heidi . Lauren did the right thing , if you can't leave Spencer , then we can't be friends ever again . Heidi made her decision , and Lauren made hers . This is why I love the way Lauren is so real with everything . That type of mentality is what we need to dust off people like Heidi and Spencer , and others that wanna hate on you .

I know right 😢 I see just how naturally beautiful she was in the first season and it makes me so sad. She was so effortless with her loose flowy dresses and no make up and Spencers insanity (and possibly him always having a wondering eye) made her want to change everything and I hate that this is a thing and that some girls feel this way.
