12:49 no better words were ever spoken pete. The broodmother,the boss that has been in since the very first beta. Back than it was just a bigger wolf spider with no other change. Now turned into the second boss fight of the game. I love the music,it sets up the fight perfectly. From here on i recomend the termite nest,than wendeels chair and than just follow the story and go wherever you want.

Invincible shielding/ attack referes to durability of your weapons/shield. In Grounded, Invincible Shielding offers a 10% chance to repair a shield's durability by 25% when blocking (something similar for invincible attack)

The broodmother is one of the few creatures in grounded that doesn’t parallel any real world creatures. Its model is based on the spiny orb weaver, but it is far too large. An accurate size would be about the size of the ladybug. Also, it is in a web like a funnel web spider, not an orb weaver.

18:35 my bigger recomendation is get the roly poly armor and upgraded it,than kill more wolf spider to get level 3 mithriladism and you are good to go. A sour weapon is obtained to late and its mainly usefull to farm them.

Tips of the day. Tip#1 for full set of Broodmother armor and the Club of the Mother Demon you need to kill her 4 times per player. Tip#2 there are 4 summonable bosses, 3 story bosses, 1 findable optional boss, and 1 optional storyline boss. Tip#3 for a great DOT (damage over time) build you need a full set of sleek Broodmother armor, (for now) a tier 2 dagger, with both of these mutations Mom Genes and Assasin (gotten by killing at least 40 bugs with a dagger). Tip#4 Gnats gather around lamps at night. Tip#5 there is a great AOE weapon and a charm in a lab between rocks in the Rock wall by the Milk Carton. Tip#6 To 100% Grounded you need to buy everything in the shop so it is recommended to save your science instead of duplicating items that you just kill bugs to make.

I think the black widow was nerfed because if I remember correctly, black widows use to be immune to every weapon buff. And yes, there are more black widows through out the map.

If you destroy the stumps of the grass, they will not grow back. The next time you travel over the milk carton have a good look at the stone wall near to the carton.

Like 95% sure the Broodmother is based on the Spiny Orb Weaver. Edit: Kill more Wolf Spiders and get better poison resistance too, it'll help (not needed though).

That's a wolf spider, the broodmother has distinct ridges on its carapace that the corpse lacks.
