The reason NSYNC didn't last as long as the BSB was because there was an imbalance in the group dynamics. The only two that got solos in 98% of the songs were Justin and JC. The other 3 felt like background singers. In contrast, the BSB gave each person their chance to shine. For example, in Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely every single one of them has a solo and a chance to shine.
