I'm currently riding an 09 CFMoto V5. I have owned much better bikes but I cant complain. For a china bike that cost $3k new to still be on the road 14 years later, an still start first time, they are doing something right.

So lemme make sure I got this right... You were on a Ducati... and got passed by a Harley... bagger? 😉 (I know it was a parade lap, but I can't help but rib you about it. 😂) I often listen to music while riding. I've been riding so long it really doesn't affect my ability to be aware of my surroundings or the operation of the vehicle. You can tell when I'm really in the groove, I'm carving the twisties and my foot's tapping. BRW, if you turn mirroring off on your cell phone camera, the text won't be backwards. There are other tracks in America. MotoGP used to come here 3x a year. CotA, Indianapolis and Laguna Seca. But Indianapolis doesn't have a good track for motorcycles. At least in my opinion. Laguna Seca is world class (and like 90 min from my house... max). But it's main problem is the rich people that moved near it. They complain about the noise. It's like moving next to an airport and complaining about the jets. But they are rich, so they buy the council and lots of limitations have been imposed on this legendary track. Ah, the duels that happened in the Corkscrew there. Some crazy stuff!

I think you made me more appreciative and be more of a fan on MotoGP then I was before with the posts on Insta and KZbin. Note: didn't dislike or hated it whatsoever lol, don't get me wrong. I was more like: "I know it's there and it's cool and all but not one to sit and watch it." Now I might, may be due to i'll be able to pick my first bike up soon after passing riding exams and start riding myself after the classes.

Very cool you got out on the track! Quite the crowd out there. Haven't done a lap like that myself, only time I've been on a track has been a two-day CA Superbike School I did at VIR a couple of years ago as a birthday present to myself, had been wanting to do it for years and could finally afford it! A bit pricey maybe, but two days of track sessions on a new BMW S1000RR is one hell of an experience, and several of the coaches told me that VIR is one of their favorite tracks in the US. Also happens to be closest to home for me, totally worth it! NJ Motorsports Park might actually be closer to home, but it's also pretty flat. VIR is more like a country road. AMA Superbike used to run there (I remember seeing video of Nicky Hayden there before he went to Moto GP), don't know if they still do.

The 450SS Was designed by the same engineer as the RSV4 Factory and the Panigale V4S/ R. So it should remind you of those bikes. Great upload Lali!
