I wanted a Yellow House | 100-year-old Cottage Renovations

Since I've been as young as I can remember, I've always wanted a yellow house with white frames. Painting the white walls yellow gave me much joy and happiness and I can't wait to paint the rest of the house!
I filled my freezer with blueberries and I can't wait to pick even more of them next autumn.
I try to upload every other week but it sometimes takes longer. I work a fulltime 9-5, and with commuting and trying to work on the house + film it, takes more time than I care to admit.

I picked several buckets, and still eat bluberries in my cereal almost every morning, I love them too💛 (The sad part is that tons of blueberries rot in the forrest because no one picks them, it's just too much!)

I like to believe they taste better because of the fresh air, clean water and the slow growth since we don't have super-warm summers. But they might just taste better because we pick them ourselves :D💛

As @IaMmeMilly says, it's a very common tool in Scandinavia due to the berry-picking-culture, but I'm sure it is possible to buy one online if you'd like to try it out :)

Just delightful Mathilde. I have done a lot of house painting over the years and it is a very tiring and finicky job, but the end result is always pleasing and fresh. The house looks sunshiny lovely. I like that you painted your eaves yellow as well.

Oh, that is such a nice thing to say, thank you! I love her very much aswell, she is my best friend💛 I just some jam of the raspberries, and I filled my freezer with blueberries which I eat in my cereal breakfast almost every day :D

I bought it in a local store in my town, they sell them everywhere in the autumn time. It's called "bærplukker" in Norwegian, but it seems like they sells them on amazon too (if you live in a country with amazon, we don't have it in Norway), just google Berry Picker:D 💛

I would if I could! But it is not an generic color-code, it's specific for the brand of paint I choice. But it is a bright, yellow outside paint mixed in a yellow base :) Sorry I could not be more helpful!💛
