The responsibility of having to take care of a child can give a mother immense strength to fight all odds to bring up your child. It helped me when I hit rock bottom, I had all the people who could help, yet had none. Battling a couple of auto-immune conditions, I managed to get back my health and educate my daughter from KG right up to her university all on my own with that strength and determination of having to do right by my child. I wish you too are able to sail though lives challenges and you and your child have a great life.

I was single parent for 15 years ,My husband had a extra marrital affair with a women and had a child with her ,when my son was 2years old, and he made me to sign mutual divorce doc saying that he is in big financial issue some police case too so to secure me n my son he is doing this...I just blindly trusted him ..later knowing this story my in-laws slowly drifted away from me n my son..at some point my mom n bro also didn't support me ..then I trusted only all mighty god .. spiritually I became more strong ...may be that was the reason I never thought of suicide or some negativity...thanks to almighty lord ...Today I am happily married, my son is 22 years old ...now all say that they are proud of me ...Being single moms are superwomen. .belief and move on..

One thing I don't understand here - Under Hindu law, a wife gets an equal share of the assets of the deceased husband divided between other Class I heirs, the children and mother. This applies only if the man dies intestate. If there are no children and other claimants, the wife is entitled to the total property. So how did the entire money go to the parents? Even if the husband is non-Hindu she would inherit because Islamic law also provides share of deceased husband's property for the widow, and for Christians, the widow automatically inherits. So how did the parents in law keep everything? Why didn't she contest?

Must depend upon who was the "owner" of the property/assets Technically if everything was in the name of parents they could do whatever they wanted and the next-gen would only get their share of inheritance once mom & dad pass away *even in these instances a will might come into play where parents can specify who'll get what percentage of share, they can totally exclude anyone without any reason too The only instance in which one can demand an equal share from inheritance is when there is no will written before

This Hindu, Muslim, Christian law sounds o archaic and rustic, it's a shame that even in 21st century, we Indians inspite of being the largest secular democracy still have laws based on religion. no other developed country has such provisions of having laws based on religion. Property which comes from previous generations called पैतृक संपत्ति In case of 1St situation no one have right to use the property without father's approval. But In case of 2nd situation even if property is on the name of father, he can't stop his son or daughter in law or grandson from using that property. In such condition court will divide the property among father and his all children. And his sons property will go further to his widow wife(if she doesn't remarry) or his next generation. So if any house or land is पैतृक संपत्ति then no one can throw out the daughter in law or grandkid

I too when im 23 i am a single mother all my friends my dear ones ignore me, but each day i Pray to God and He gave me that strength and i said to myself, one day i have to stand infront of God to face the Judgement day stop explain myself to others, others who judge you will judge you only.... I told myself lots of single parents im not the only one, one day at a time i got that strength from Jesus, He stood beside me the moment i gave birth to my son the time i became a Mother my mind, way of thinking all turn out more matured and give me strength that im a mother i have to live and be strong for my son.... Its then through Thick and Thin in my life i encounter Jesus as my personal Saviour.... Im like this its by God Grace lots of storm in life but i can face by God grace... Now my son is 15 years 😊

My sister store is little bit different, she get married in 2021 was passed away while delevering baby within 9 months due to her husband job tensions and family issues, and her last words was that her daughter should get everything in life. Inshaallah, I will keep my sister words and when I get married, I will make sure that she should be getting everything in life.
