This is by far the best clip I have seen in 2024. He is the first person I have seen that can talk about porn the way he does. He doesn't stress on how porn can affect you one way or another, sometimes those kinds of education just don't work as expected. Instead, he shares the worst story I could imagine in the realest way while still embracing his vulnerability to porn. He doesn't tell us to quit, but gives us every reason to quit. If someone is 10 years into porn addiction, there is no guarantee that the count will stop even after he gets a wife, just take this man for example. Also, he tells his story as if he just started living his second life. Those words are the realest, most genuine we can hear from a person who struggled. After 40 years, the fact that he survived at the bottom of his life is pretty impressive. In his position, there is either (1) to kill yourself or (2) to start a second life. And we all know what he chose. In some perspectives, his journey has been very authentic that pushes him to be a good person. I couldn't imagine how he looked, talked back then. But in the clip, he is an authentic man. Great clip. Great person.

This testimony is a bright light in this dark world. Thank you for sharing. I, myself is also a victim of pornography addiction. I’ve been exposed to it by a classmate at the age of 8 years old. I struggle a lot with it. Only after coming to faith (I’m a Christian), have I’ve got a group of men that keeps me accountable to my actions. Only 20+ years I was addicted to pornography and masturbation. God can change and transform anyone :’) I’m still struggling but I have hope and faith that I can overcome it.

Thank you for sharing your story, Mr. Teh Hsin. You are very brave and humble for openly admitting your weakness in the past so that the many millions of men out there who struggle with the same addiction can relate to what you struggled with and how Jesus helped you overcome it.

I admire the courage this man has at letting himself be recorded while talking about this topic. I'd be utterly ashamed if i were him because you can bet anything that this friends and family might make fun of him. Porn addiction is a huge topic and lots of men are affected by it.

I am forever proud of him for turning around his life. I am currently going through a divorce due to my husband doing porn for my whole marriage …25 years. My husband is 54 and he has been doing poor for 40 years. When I learn abt the porn I was already 12 years into my marriage. I went to get him help he didn’t show the interest. He stopped but then reverted back. I caught him again and this time I wanted him to accept the help on his own in which he did but it was too late. I had already filed for divorce. Along this journey of my decision to divorce him I’ve learned about the dating sites, social media pages and video chats etc he was using. I’m on my way.. I only wished he did more to help himself like this gentleman here. 🙏🏽

Sounds like it was about a lot more than just porn. Unless you are saying porn is a gateway drug to cheating.

When I discovered my ex watching porn and found nudity pictures on his phone, he became upset. He justified it by saying it's just a natural aspect of being a man and that there's nothing wrong with it. I found that he didn't respect me at all.
@NationalFoodBro4 ай бұрын
U thought he didn't respect u? he disrespect his family he disrespect himself for doing that. Also don’t make it about you. Anyone addicted to such drugs is not beyond help. They just need to seek the right help from the right people.
@nhitc68323 ай бұрын
That's very shallow of you to think he doesn't respect you. Men watch porn whether or not they are in a relationship or married. Your ex definitely watched porn before he met you. He will continue to watch porn after you broke up with him. So it has nothing to do with him disrespecting you. The problem only arises when it becomes an addiction and may potentially ruin their life.

@@nhitc6832 Similar to how family members can report drug addicts to the police perhaps it is time to extend such methods to porn addicts as well. Forcefully put them in rehab.

@@nhitc6832i think everything in moderation is the thing. my bf and i both watch porn but i’d also be upset if he was saving the images to his phone bc that’s not necessary and it’s strange when we plan on building a family and it makes the porn seem very personal.

Addiction is most often because of trauma you may have experienced when you were little or maybe you were anxious about life not sure if you can make it because of the way your are built and you did not have an adult who could have helped you. This ends up in addiction and any addictive behavior is a mental health issue. Yes, no judgements. This needs to be addressed in the same way like substance abuse. Heart goes out for this man and his struggles. Glad he managed to survive despite the pain he was going through and doing a great service to human society by talking about it bravely.
