Yeah, as a Scotland national trust member, it seems like 90% of the sites are mostly just open air, but the best one I've been to is Culzean Castle on the west coast. It's amazing and has an amazing location. Good on you finding a good castle to visit while out and about!

Ah Drogo Castle. I took my daughter there for her birthday just a few weeks ago. Lovely place and the views are stunning. I was surprised you could film in there as they were telling me not to take photos! I love the wild horses. They'd do like people and there food lol. It's a shame you didn't get a good night's sleep. Normally it's peacefull at night out there. Devon as a whole is a lovely part of the country. Hope you can find time to visit again.

Those donut marks on the gravel when you first pulled up was a sign that it could be a bit of a 'party' spot, it was great to see those new arrivals respecting our beautiful & quiet countryside in that way though... On a more positive note, that horse with the itchy arse was lovely (as was little Mr Ed too) I think he could smell your juicy fat carrot in the cool box & just wanted a nibble. I would have chopped the end off it & thrown it for him, I'm sure he would have chased after it like a good dog :P Great episode apart from the obvious low point.
