Nice video Brock, hopefully your troubleshooting was correct and it'll just be a minor electrical thing.(I'm almost done with video) When I get laying all the way down on the ground like you were under a machine sometimes I just want to take a nap LOL. As far as moving dirt and learning that efficiency I hear that. When I used to hire it out I'd be like well just dig me a little pond here and fill in this low spot here and there and move move all this dirt 50 yards over this way. I sure still haven't mastered it either LOL. take care

Sounds like electrical or fuel delivery (filter clogged or air in system). The scary thing is when something starts knocking, smoking, or explodes. AH! Every time it died I felt your pain. A pin of that plug may have pulled out of the connecter and barely making contact or one wire of that harness may be broken. Get under there and gently wiggle each individual wire (on both sides of the connector) of that harness until the tractor dies. And something to keep in mind if you are sitting in the driver seat and can't duplicate the problem it might be the seat safety switch making things act differently. Neutral safety switch usually only cares that the tractor is out of gear for starting the engine, I don't think it would cause the engine to die. It cuts off as if the key switch is loosing contact but on this computer controlled equipment we have today anything is possible. Good luck and keep us posted
@mittenequipment2443
@mittenequipment2443 2 жыл бұрын
You are correct on the wiring harness as well as the seat safety switch, however these new Deere’s will shut off if the tractor is in gear anytime an operator is not in the seat. It appears that the tractor died after a hard movement of the tractor, and I suspect it to be a simple wiring fix like you have said.
@T_Humphries
@T_Humphries 2 жыл бұрын
@@mittenequipment2443 Good to know and it doesn't surprise me at all. My experience with Deere only goes up to an 2018 model, it wants you in the seat to go into gear but once it's rolling you can stand up. If the PTO is running it'll fuss at me for coming off the seat but it will continue running

The sensors on the tractor work on low voltage. Any corrosion on the connectors, broken wires, damaged wires, etc. can affect the voltage and cause intermittent problems. You could start by using a little dielectric grease on that connector that was disconnected. If that doesn't help, replacing the sensor may be the easiest thing to try next. After that, it gets tough. Good luck. The new tractors are a wonder in technology but, like computers, can leave you scratching your head. I've found that the dielectric grease helps quite a bit. And as far as your backfilling around the building goes, just make sure that the lowest spot is directly over your drain line and not up against the building. It's easy to overlook little things like that. Well, good luck with your tractor and keep up the good work!

It seemed to be every time the tractor rolled forward a smidge, which would trigger the neutral switch I believe, I’ve cut out all the wires on my tractor except keyed ignition, tossed the neutral safety switch in the trash. Doing something sketchy and having the tractor cut out would turn to disaster quick, nothing safe about that

thanks for sharing the video I would be checking your fuel make sure your fuel filter is clean. make a temporary jumper wire to jump out the safety neutral switch so you can troubleshoot it. when I bought my kioti rx7320 tractor a few months ago the first thing I did was buy a pre-made jumper to jump out the seat switch. there's nothing more irritating when you stand up on your tractor to check a load and the tractor dies.
@RockhillfarmYT

I grew up moving dirt with a shovel and wheel barrow. Tractors like this are amazing though I’d probably pay money for an operator with an excavator to do this for me. Cheaper than buying a backhoe. But if you have the backhoe then why not use it? Good luck fixing your tractor.

I run into that as well, where I think running my tractor or mini is "fun" but when there is repetitive mindless motions like carrying scoops of dirt from one place to the other, I get bored with it real quick.
