At 58:00 he's very wrong, we learned that avoiding the conflict leads to us getting brutalized. What the lesson actually was is - we must initiate the battles as we used to do in the 20th century.

I just want to say to Trey, that my wife and I truly appreciate the coverage you provided last October. We were glued to the channel at home here in The US and were amazed by your dedication and information you provided. Your work is truly appreciated. Our hearts and prayers were going out to the Israeli people those first days because just by chance the month before in September 2023 we downloaded a language app and randomly chose to start learning Hebrew. It really touched our hearts that you were there covering the tragedy so that the world could see evil at work and it not go unnoticed. To this day since I heard you mention the Red Alert app during that coverage, I still have this app to hear the alerts of rockets in the air in Israel on a day to day basis, so as to not forget the daily struggle there in Israel. I want to say that in our hearts you are already a legend in the industry and I pray for your safety, well being and continued coverage.

My husband was a combat veteran and I learned in the hebrew that there is a difference in killing and murder. Having grown up in a small town and being a Baptist girl I was struggling with that. When I talked to my husband about it he said you have to put a rabid dog down. When you have a religion that considers themselves to be the only ones that God favors and they are taught that from the time that they are little and it's OK to lie to an infidel which some believe everyone is but them and they are yelling death to Israel - death to America - you have to put it down - thank goodness for those who have abandoned that ideaology!

If there was no October 7th there would be no airstrikes that have happened this past year. It's really straight forward. The cease fire existed on October 6th - despite the rockets thrown at Israel regularly.

Trey, you have done a fantastic job, both in Ukraine and in Israel, of reporting the reality of war without taking sides. I salute you for your courage as well as your perspicacity. I am a combat veteran of the Vietnam War, an A-6 Intruder fighter-bomber pilot, which gave me a very different perspective of combat from the grunts on the ground who fought the war eyeball to eyeball. In your interview with Jack, I really appreciated your testimonial regarding PTSD. We all experience this phenomenon in uniquely different ways. Your articulate and very personal description of how it has affected you was very liberating for me and I'm sure anyone who has also experienced it. As you described your experience, I tried to put myself into your own bloodstained boots, and it gave me empathy for what you've endured to bring the reality of war home to all FOX viewers. Thank you for that. I look forward to reading your book. Stay safe, my friend! 👍🙏🐻🇺🇲🇮🇱

@@tg8285 He’s contesting use of the word “terrorist.” I actually think journalists should say “soldiers who commit terrorism.” I think it’s important to reinforce that SamaH is the military of a self-governing statelet. Simply calling them “terrorists” implies they are non-state actors. I don’t think anyone should forget these people were elected and are responsible for protecting their citizens.

Trey, you mentioned that AlAqsa is the 3rd holiest site to Muslims. I wanted to add: the same location, called Temple Mount by the Jews, is the holiest site for Jews, because (quoting from My Jewish Learning) "Abraham demonstrated his devotion to God by taking his son Isaac to be sacrificed. It is also the site of both ancient Jewish temples. The first, built by King Solomon, was destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 BCE. The second was built in the sixth century BCE and stood for nearly 600 years before it was destroyed and the Jewish people exiled in 70 CE by the Roman Empire. Jews continue to mourn the destruction on the fast day of Tisha B’Av. According to Jewish tradition, a third temple will be built on the site during the messianic age."

Good interview! One thing about the Hamas “militants”. The distinction between militants and terrorists lies in their methods, goals, and moral boundaries. Militants are individuals or groups engaged in armed struggle, often pursuing political, ideological, or territorial objectives, and they primarily target opposing armed forces or infrastructure. While their actions may involve violence, they typically adhere to some form of combat ethics or justification within a larger conflict. Terrorists, on the other hand, deliberately target civilians, using fear and indiscriminate violence as tools to achieve their aims, often prioritizing chaos and shock over any ethical considerations. This is exactly what took place on 10-7-23. Labeling all violent actors as "militants" minimizes the moral gravity of terrorism and the unique threat it poses to innocent lives and societal stability.

Pretty good reporting considering the alternatives. Still a long way from as good as it should be. I’ve never seen this reporter before but I look forward to seeing more. However it doesn’t take long to see that Trey is also biased quite clearly. ( I don’t think it’s important to clarify what those biased notions are tbh) What are the motives behind people and their biased notions. I think this question is irrelevant. It is however, sadly disingenuous to try and cast yourself as the true source of the facts.m or ‘trueist’ ! Just because you don’t fabricate facts, doesn’t mean you’re being honest. The profession of journalism requires at its core, a compromise of values in order to have access to all sides of a story. THIS fact, fundamentally undermines anyone who tries to claim that they have the cleanest truth. That is fundamentally a clear unequivocal lie. I am gonna buy your book still though man! I enjoy your work all the same. 👍
