Thank you for having Haviv on again. His perspective is important. It has been a rough year, for sure. G-d willing, all of the remaining hostages will be returned swiftly and soon. Amen.

There's a lot of people on KZbin who speak on this topic, and I've spent countless hours watching, but if I had to pick only one to recommend to someone it would be Haviv. He's been incredible, anyone interested in this conflict must watch his two lectures "The great misinterpretation" and "The Jews who lived through history". The first explains the Palestinian side and the second the Israeli one, and by the end you really feel that finally you start to understand where both are coming from, and maybe how you would feel in their shoes, in true human terms, instead of just historical and legal facts. Highly recommended.

Jack, you should have Einat Wilf and Natasha Hausdorff on your show. Two brilliant Israeli women that explain the situation. Natasha is an expert on International law and Einat used to be one of those Leftists that supported the Oslo Accords and woke up to the reality of Palestinian society and extremism.

@StormDAleph Natasha Hausdorff is British. @@modify.d7160 Taub and Linor are not "right wing", They're both self proclaimed pro-Bibi propagandists, what in Israel we call "Bibistim". I like Gur, and I agree with much of what he said, but you need to understand he comes from a left/center point of view. From a right point of view Netanyahu is the only one that stands strong vs the endless and powerful forces from within and from outside to stop the war and essentially lose it. Now that Israel is almost done with Hamas, and starts to win big in the north many voices (of "experts") on the left try to jump on the wagon but on the right we can't forget they called to stop the war. I do really appreciate that Gur admits the government handle the war itself well, it is not obvious for a left/center wing person to admit, most wouldn't.

33:10 ... Nothing happened ? Pretty sure that America was threatening to withhold weapon shipments and currently are ... Unfortunately maybe Bibi thought that by playing nice with the Americans he could secure a better setup for the future ... Unfortunately that was a bad gamble in his last time but it's still very understandable that one would try to make sure their supply lines don't get disrupted prior to entering the war

@gg_rider2 ай бұрын
Hasbara is advocacy. Palestinians have hasbara about "stolen land" which is entirely false because Jews paid Turks and Arabs for Land Titles. Palestinians have hasbara about "violence" which negates decades of unchecked Islamic mob violence against Jews prior to 1948 and prior to 1938, before Jews had developed sufficient self-defense and retaliation capabilities, so Jews were sitting ducks capable of running, hiding, and prayer. Trump & Kamala both have hasbara, positive stories.

Israel needs to address urgently "catastrophic conditions" among Palestinian civilians in the besieged Gaza Strip and stop "intensifying suffering" by limiting aid deliveries, its ally the United States told the U.N. Security Council on Wednesday.

Joe Biden had the US Marines drop off 588 metric tons of food via that ocean flotilla. The Marines working on humanitarian aid had to fight off Hamas who was shooting at them. Associated Press wrote that 588 tons of America's food was sitting in United Nations warehouses, because Hamas shoots at food trucks. There's food on Israel's border too. In the meantime, Palestinians publish selfies of lavish food parties. Israel drones spotted Hamas hijacking a food truck at gunpoint. After they drove clear away with their looted food, the IDF blew them to smithereens. Videos of Hamas killing starving skinny men for stealing food.
