It is very simple. The IRGC doesn't represent Iran. It shows in their name Islamic Republic Gaurd Corps. They are not all Iranian nationals. They have a large number of foreigners in their ranks, from Iraq, Lebanon, and recently Afghanistan. They are there to protect the oppressive violent mullahs' theocracy and have zero national interest in Iran. They are not a typical army but rather an army of Ometh( which in English means the nation of Islam that does not recognize any border). The information covered will prove helpful to many seeking to understand the nature of this new conflict. I’ve been a student of Middle Eastern affairs, Israel, the Diaspora, and the Jewish experience for many years, but I also gained a new and valued perspective on the broader subject tonight. My heart has been broken for the suffering of the people of Israel; particularly for the many wonderful Israeli men and women we know and love; for their families, friends, and colleagues. But we are so proud of them, grateful to be their friends, and will be continually praying for them and all Israel - Jewish and Arab, as the country faces this existential crisis. The information presented here is indeed excellent but, as Christians, our entire worldview is formed by the Bible, so our understanding of the connection between the Jewish people and the land of Israel extends far earlier than the 140 years covered here. On the basis of our faith, trust, and love of the Lord, and our firm belief in His Word, as well as historical facts and International Law, we stand squarely with Israel. And we will do whatever we can to support her, by the grace and power of Almighty God; the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Am Israel Chai!

Imagine your an Arab Muslim living in gaza, you were a loud to vote your own government 17 years ago, trouble is, for whatever reason, Israel/US are not happy! When a superpower with nukes repeat 40 beheaded babies from the president, on tv, shown all over the world, again & again & again. The world knows exactly what Israel will do? Overreaction! Overkill! But I never thought 10 months! 40.000 dead. 70% gaza flattered. The mask of Israel slipped! Day after day watching how nasty, spiteful & hate mixed with revenge mixed with the language towards towards Palestinians, by 28th October I went on my 1st pro Palestine marche in London. The media said its radical & volient, the people I saw got my respect, it was respectful & want Palestinians to have self Determination. History did not start October 7 I'm not under cover for iran. I want peace, stop these wars, stop occupation, stop settlers, stop settlement. Gaza will have Jewish settlers stealing land as it has for 75 years. Israel want their cake & eat it too, Israel didn't like the PLO before hamas, same old, rinse & repeat. I don't know enough about the history and I don't know both sides of the story. Even if I had an opinion I would not need to live through the consequences so its pretty much worthless. You seem very knowledgeable about the Israeli political system but most people that talk about it know shocking little. Too little to have any form of argument.

I am watching this now 9 months after it was filmed, after the invasion and massacre. First of all, thank you for your concern and for interviewing someone as knowledgeable and with the integrity of Haviv Rettig Gur. What breaks my heart is, listening to Haviv and his understanding of what was about to happen, and how things were going to happen in the near and not too distant future. As an Israeli, it is my feeling that either Haviv or Michael Oren are some of the most well informed and correct experts. Where things broke down and did not proceed as Haviv predicted had to do primarily with one thing more than any other - the incredibly bad running of everything military and political, by the politicians both in the U.S. and in Israel. The fact that Biden sent the carrier groups over, and made tough sounding statements supposedly warning Iran and others, including Hizbullah, not to get involved, (e.g., "If you're thinking of getting involved, Don't!"), the actual policies of the American administration and State Department have been disastrous. From the beginning, putting pressure on Israel not to hit Hamas too hard, not to make too much of a war in Gaza, caving in to domestic political interests having to do with the progressive wing of the Democratic party and other election-related issues. The most recent f--k-up on their part, demanding endlessly that Israel NOT go into Rafah, with the National Security Council saying it would take four months to move the population out - Israel did it in 12 days. But the f-k-ups started about the time of this filming. In no time at all, as Haviv said, between 120-130% of reservists called showed up - people who weren't even called up came to fight. There were 300,000 troops ready for a ground war, and they sat idle for weeks, while the Biden administration warned that a full-scale military response would cause too many civilian casualties. The fact that the Biden administration put pressure on Israel not to start the ground war is on them. However, the fault for finally caving in to the demands falls in the laps of Israel's politicians. Netanyahu's government caved to the pressure, and as a result gave up a huge amount, and caused the hostages and their families weeks of endless suffering. The way this war has been fought has been so careful that it has led to a civilian-to-combatant ratio of killed in fighting of 1-to-1. I believe for the Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan, much like most modern militaries, had a ratio of 9 civilians to every 1 combatant. Still, Biden and Western politicians around the world, not to mention the news media and academics, all crying about too many civilian casualties. How many? We don't know, but... whatever the number, its too many! Its genocide!! - which is a particularly obscene lie, one used every time Israel fights Palestinians. They make up numbers for casualties and they are gobbled down and spit back out by the politicians, news media, and academics around the world. The number 30,000 dead, parroted by Biden and all the rest came from the Gaza Health Ministry - which is Hamas. But they never mentioned that fact, or the fact that the numbers had never been substantiated. And of course it turned out that even the U.N. and Hamas itself said the numbers were too high - exaggerated. But still, we see 30,000 or 35,000 killed, often even claiming that number represents civilians. Nevertheless, political pressure put on Israel has caused months of needless delays. And Hizbullah in the north? Every-F--king Day, rockets, drones, anti-tank missiles are fired on civilian areas in the north of Israel. There are, today, somewhere between 80,000 and 90,000 "internal refugees" - Israelis who have been moved out of their homes and have been living in hotels or with relatives for 9 months now. Why? Because Hizbullah is firing at civilian targets every day. One-third of the town of Metulla has been flattened. Thousands of missiles, drones, and rockets, what other country in the world would be expected to ignore this constant state of war? And what happened to the carrier group in the Mediterranean, supposedly to warn off others from getting involved (and let's not forget the 300 missiles, drones, and rockets fired from Iran at Israel)? It was pulled back and out. Now the policy is to warn Israel not to go to war with Hizbullah. And still, the administration refuses to change the Obama plan for peace in the mid-East, which is to coddle, placate, and appease Iran! Hundreds of billions of dollars were freed up, a great deal of which was used to fund the Iranian proxies and other terrorists groups. Iran has openly said that it plans to destroy Israel - as a first step on the way to destroy the "Great Satan:, the United States. Still, the administration refuses to admit that Iran is at war with the West, including the U.S. They just can't seem to let go of the Obama "strategy." Sorry to go on so, but what Haviv predicted should have been accurate. The errors are not his, they are the political errors of the American administration and Israel's government. In addition to the needless additional suffering of hostages and their families, the number of casualties in the IDF, because Israel is spending so many of our soldiers lives trying to keep Palestinian civilians alive. Hundreds KIA, thousands wounded. And what does Israel get in return for this? Accusations of genocide, from everybody from Hollywood "stars" to political and academic hacks, to journalists - on and on. There is no basis whatsoever for these accusations, nevertheless, the "protesters" chant away, led by Palestinian and other Muslim outside agitators. Unless you are foolish enough to believe that students from over 200 universities all across the U.S. suddenly all agreed, spontaneously - to have these massive demonstrations and shut down their campuses, with identical tents, keffiyehs, signs, strategies, chants, all the same... Sorry, I am going on again. Just thank you to Jack Carr and to Haiv Rettig Gur, for coming on and agreeing to be interviewed this close after the invasion and massacre. It is clear to see how much this is costing him emotionally. And he doesn't even discuss here the rapes of women and children, and men - some of it filmed by Hamas as they were doing it, now denied by the defenders and supporters of Hamas, nor the mutilation and torture and many of the more barbaric actions of the Palestinians who invaded on October 7, 2023. Yes, the Palestinians. Too often we see the "Hamas" invasion or attack. Who/what is Hamas? It is 100% Palestinian organization. In the "acceptable narrative", Palestinians must always be victims, even when they are the perpetrators. Anyway, thanks. Out.
