Craig- This is interesting your saying this because my ex and I broke up after an incident that I thought was disrespectful , when he thought I was being insecure, that was the day he broke it off. I also got on him a few times about send certain emojis to some females pic of fb... yes I have certain trust issues and listening to this I think my insecurities come from when my parents broke up when I was 8 years old, and not long after that I suffered bad anxiety attacks and had them ever since I am not 46 my ex is 44.

Well him sending emoji to other female....you seem like you should get annoyed because I would too. If I did that to my ex if she is with me she would've flip off. But then again, I only have my ex on everything and no other girls while she have guys as friends. I avoid other girls so she wouldn't feel or have anxiety. But she is over there saying "oh he works with me" "he is..." and I still let her be friends with them. She made up bs reason that contradict her point. But anyways, she "love another guy" and "choose her parents" even if they threaten her, control her (in different aspect), and bring her down for little things. Not sugar coating that I'm "perfect" because I'm not, I have trust and jealousy issue but I still let her be her without changing her.

So I was in a long distance we've been broken up for 2 months and 2 weeks. Soon after the breakup I asked for my stuff back and she said she'd send it when she got the chance..We haven't talked and she hasn't responded to me since. I ended up asking her brother a month later and he said the same thing. I don't want to talk to her again because she actually ended up dating someone else like a week or 2 after the breakup. Never seen this guy before and I've been with her for 2 years and we 'literally' talked 24/7 on skype. I'm honestly getting irritated about this whole situation but I had an anxious attachment style so I feel bad about how I treated her. I'm scared to even attempt to talk to her about getting my stuff back because I don't want to say the wrong thing. I don't know if I should even attempt anymore but I want what's mine. Doesn't matter if it was something as small as a pen.

424qwertyuiop When you say long distance I'm not sure what that means. Can you engage the brother as an intermediary and arrange to pick up your things at a neutral location? I don't know the quantity or quality of the things you left behind but certainly you can't be serious about a pen. I'm assuming that was hyperbole. But you do have a legitimate right to the return of your things. If you have a digital and/or written inventory of the items submit it to the brother (or your ex )and request that your ex return these items. If its feasible logistically you might consider small claims court in the jurisdiction where your possessions are located if you are repeatedly ignored. Your ex might have a legitimate right to dispose of your items if you let too much time expire so follow up on this and document your efforts. You should avoid direct personal contact at this point. Steve Urquhart she won't respond to anything I say right now. Especially since she's dating someone else now. There's no way for us to meet. So I don't know if I should try to ask her for my stuff again or just wait until she reaches out... If she ever does

424qwertyuiop Try documenting the items you believe are there and send it to her with a request to arrange for the return. If you are thinking about using the things as a way of seeing her and pleading your case, don't. That usually doesn't end well. But if you really want these things back you have a right to their return. Just send a letter with the documentation to your ex. This is just business so keep it formal and on topic. I know you're upset. I would be too. But for now it's about only the return of your items. If you wait until she reaches out, your things could be long gone and you might not have recourse. She is not a storage locker. So treat it as if was a former landlord who now has some of your things and you want them returned. The emotional stuff can and should wait for now. Good luck.
