They should have sent you to Quincy Reservoir not far from Aurora reservoir it's a trophy fishery for Tiger Musky they also have Trout Perch Bass and Bluegill.

I went to Quincy the first day shortly before dark . The wind was pumping about 20 mph and saw a guy flip his kayak while I was talking to the Ranger. I planned on going back the day I went to Aurora Reservoir but spent too much time at Aurora Reservoir. Next time.
