Gerald did it different. If you got where he was coming from it cut deep. I like a lot of the big producers at that time, but his stuff was spellbinding. He doesn't show up in many dj mixes at the time because his tracks had weird contours that didn't translate perfectly to a mono groove.

A guy called gerald is awesome, so many artist brought different ideas to the genre jungle imo his is the most creative, he like Juan Atkins to techno, Theo Parrish to house, DJ Premier to hip hop,

I love how he reinvented himself and went on to create underground Hardcore/Jungle tunes. ‘Anything Can Happen’ is such a bad tune

Awsome totally makes sence to hear the original OG loved jazz as a teen, i feel in love with jungle as a teen in the late 90s and always described it as a sort of electronic drum jazz. Much love from New Zealand ✌
