Thanks for the reaction and I am so glad you enjoyed it. Dan did “An American Trilogy” October 9, 2017 approximately a week after his father‘s death as Elvis was one of his father‘s favorite singers and you definitely see his emotional loss with that one. “Son Of Pain” was done in February 2019, so not in relation to his father‘s passing but it is also emotional and beautiful. No matter what Dan does. He does a great job, and I will come back to listen along with many others as VascNation truly loves this man. He really is terrific.

When he released his metal version of Amazing Grace, he reached a new audience that wasn’t used to metal. Dan sings in many languages. Angels We Have Heard on High is in Italian, German, Brazilian Portuguese, English. Adeste Fideles is in Latin. He also has songs in Japanese and Spanish.

Yay! You've discovered the phenomenal Dan Vasc! (Thanks, Pam!) Welcome to VascNation. Dan has extensive training in both classical and metal singing techniques. He can (truly!) sing anything, in any range and in any style. He has the most beautiful, most expressive, and most versatile male voice I've heard in many years, with power and charisma to burn. He sings anything that appeals to him, from folk to ballads, to Disney cartoons, to Broadway, to 80s covers, to opera, but, as he says in the outro (thanks for playing that, BTW), his real love is metal and hard rock. My favorite Dan songs are his own "metalized" arrangements of non-metal songs, which really showcase his creativity and musical wizardry. If you're a Witcher fan, all his versions are great, especially Burn Butcher Burn and The Song of the White Wolf, both terrific in totally different ways; he also does both a metal and non-metal version of Priscilla's Song. Other metalized songs are his versions of I'll Make a Man out of You (from Mulan), A Kiss from a Rose (duet, of Seal's song), Adele's Rolling in the Deep, several Christmas songs (my favorite is Angels We Have Heard on High), the stunning Amazing Grace, and his newest, a remake of Celine Dion's lovely but weepy My Heart Will Go On, which he turns on its head. Glad you found Dan and it appears you really enjoyed it. Dan is a powerhouse with his voice and has a great personality as well. I was introduced to Dan with his performance of "Amazing Grace", and he quickly became my favorite artist. Before then, I never ever watched reaction channels. Trust me on this, keep doing reactions to Dan Vasc, and your channel will surely grow. A good recommendation for seeing Dan with his band, Fearless, is Dawn of Victory ft Fabio Lione (Rhapsody, Angra). It's a great song from Rhapsody. Quite often, Dan has guest guitarists, the most common being Victor the Guitar Nerd; Garrett J Peters also shows up on a number of covers as well; both are phenomenally talented.

Dan is a masterful and phenomenal singer - he could sing the phone book and it would be awesome! One quick note about your intro (which was really well done...thank you very much for researching...NICE). Dan's "Son of Pain" wasn't the song that he did when his father passed away. The tribute to his dad is "An American Trilogy," an Elvis cover. Dan's dad loved Elvis, and that was his favorite of all the Elvis songs he loved. Dan posted that song on October 9, 2017 (only five days after Dan's father passed away, and just four days before Dan's 28th birthday). I hope you do react to that one sometime soon. It is beautiful, and the emotion will definitely capture your heart. The video for "Son of Pain" (which is absolutely tremendous) was posted some time later (on February 15, 2019), and some fans have felt that his tears in that one were still for his father, but there's really no relation to that event. The song itself is FULL of emotion, and Dan LIVES the songs he sings. You will discover more and more of that, the more you react to his wonderful music. Another operatic song that carries a lot of emotion with it, that Dan sings, is "Nessun Dorma." Two that carry a TON of emotions are "Fairy Tale," and "My Immortal." Both of them will blow you away. - - - - - - - - - - Now that I know you're a drummer, I'll REALLY be excited for you to react to any of the FEARLESS videos that are on Dan's channel. That's his band. It consists of his two-year-younger brother Davi (on bass), their childhood friend Gabriel Belozi (other guitars--both electric and acoustic), and another childhood friend Giovanni Rezende (drums). Gio is a FANTASTICALLY-talented drummer, that I'm very sure you'll enjoy hearing. All three of those men have their own wonderful KZbin channels, as well. There are a few FEARLESS videos on Dan's channel, and a full (12-track) ORIGINAL album called "Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom" on all of the major music venues. We've also heard that another album may be appearing soon, but nobody seems to be really sure when. You can also watch Dan's terrific video "Dawn of Victory," where Fabio Lione actually went to Dan's studio (he produces everything there...he has NO recording contracts with anyone, on purpose), and FEARLESS played the music right there in the studio, for that WONDERFUL song. - - - - - - - - - - I subbed and will be watching for more reactions soon! You can't go wrong with Vasc Nation, by reacting to any of Dan's library. Also, we won't care at all, if you react to his seasonal (as in Easter, Christmas, etc.) songs at ANY time. Some of his more recent ones are particularly wonderful, but you might want to go back and catch his earlier ones first. Also, Dan does a lot of tribute songs for singers/musicians who have passed away, and he always does great songs to help people not give in to things like depression. With his older songs, he used to pretty much always add the outro, like you saw with this one, but he doesn't do that for some time, now. You should always watch THROUGH the outros, if one appears, because otherwise, Dan's fans will let you know for sure, not to do that again....seriously. As for the ones that he mentioned in THIS outro, he HAS done all of those, now, and they are absolutely tremendous. "Priscilla's Song" comes in two "flavors." One is metal, and the other is charmingly not...both are absolutely lovely. "Song of the White Wolf," is really, really tremendous, and you'll get to hear a display of Dan's voice that doesn't come out in any of the other songs I've heard him sing. It's tremendous. If you plan to react to it, I would suggest looking up how wolves sound when they start up their beautiful sounds in a forest setting. I was raised in Alaska, and my brother still lives there (in Valdez, where my family moved to in 1951, when I was only two years old). - - - - - - - - - - Again...THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your really great reaction. Classical was my genre. Would never consider metal. Then, I stumbled into Dan’s “Amazing Grace”. That performance changed my musical life. Metal can bring a dimension to music that no other genre can. I bought “Amazing Grace” on Apple. It is excellent. But, video takes it to a the level of a stage performance. Have you heard of Nandi Bushell? She's a 13 or 14 yr old drummer. She performed with Foo Fighters a couple times, once at a concert when she was 11 on their song Everlong and in 2022 at Taylor Hawkins' tribute concert. It was freaking awesome.
