When I was in jail, we had to write apology letters to our victims even tho they would never get the letter. It was to see if we were genuinely ashamed and sorry for what we’ve done. If this was graded by the psychiatrist that headed our treatment, DNP3 would have his time extended to rewrite his letter lol. It’s too much about him and what’s he’s doing for himself and not about those he harmed and how he understands how they feel. He doesn’t understand how they feel, he understands how HE feels; thus he isn’t thinking about helping anybody but himself. A genuine apology would’ve included he would accept the consequences that he deserves and will do all he can to give back to those he hurt.

5:00 To put how predatory gambling institutions are into perspective, every casino I've been in has had automated machines where you can take loans using your house or vehicle as collateral. These machines are always located right next to the machine where you reload or pay out. The reason why you get free drinks while you're playing is to get you drunk so that you gamble more. It's all set up to take everything from you.

You can't claim to be smart and also believe that there's any way of winning your money back playing casino games. It's such common knowledge that it's a colloquial saying: "The House always wins". Unless you're playing poker like a pro or counting cards in Blackjack, the House always ensures that you put in more than you win. It's designed right into the machines.
@mdb45424 Жыл бұрын
Yes as an electronic engineer it's very very simple to program when a machine pays out. Same with roulette with magnetic parts to help the house. For the irl card games they got house rules and can always accuse you of cheating if they think you made too much

@@mdb45424 They don't even have to accuse you of cheating. They can remove you from the casino for any reason. If you're winning "too much", your fellow degen gamblers aren't going to complain cause they think that gives them an "advantage" - less competition.

The most I did was pennies when I turned legal, and I turned 10 dollars to 60, but my mom said "WE WERE BARELY HERE KEEP GOING SEE HOW MUCH YOU CAN GET1!!!1!" and I really just wanted to cash that money out. In the end I went back down to 10 dollars and I outright told her no, we're leaving, I'm not losing what I came with. Also I'm not saying what he did was right, but what I'm saying is he had already knew how dumb his behavior was. He just couldn't stop. I can tell you that the majority of people that were on the Team that were of "Rank and Role" believed hardcore in what DNP3 was doing, it's almost assured these poor people were nearly Brainwashed in-essence to back an unknown Rugpull at the time. I'm really glad you were able to bring this to light, Mutahar. Not very many people even know or knew of this Coin existing and the shitty implications that's it's carried since the very beginning. The biggest thing going around his personal Server was all of this crazy positivity, all of these en-masse planned Projects with big W's in the chat everywhere, and his people shared that same energy, but I fail to believe at some point, someone within the CLUCoin Rank and File didn't have a clue or a thought as to what was actually going on with DNP3 personally or the CLU Project in-and-of-itself, since CLU had already taken such a massive hit coming off the ETH BlockChain, I saw no chance for recovery and at that point, I had had enough of the b.s.

I once went to Las Vegas with my family, my cousins were sitting at a blackjack table and I was watching them play and have a good time, winning at times, losing others, but enjoying it. Decided to join in and gamble away $50 to see what it was like... ...And I lost them in less than 5 minutes. Felt stupid, ashamed of myself, and a bit like I had been taken advantage of. Got a pretty good lesson out of it though, no betting, ever. Pretty cheap lesson too.

I've seen plenty of people like this. I was a poker dealer for 10 years. That first big win is a crazy drug and makes you feel like you can never lose. You always lose. There ARE such things as good gamblers though. My friend has been playing poker for a living for over a decade and he lives a nice life. But he also studies the game to a PhD level. His poker knowledge is top tier. I've learned a lot from him.
@mrkiky Жыл бұрын
Well poker is not gambling in the same sense as other casino games. In poker you are actually playing against other players, not against the house. The house just rakes in a tiny amount. But if you're considerably better than your opponents, you will end up in a profit. In poker, the recreational players that do play it as gambling are the source of money. They are essentially getting scammed because they are promised a chance to win but in reality the chance is 0.

Thank you for reporting on this. I'm one of the lucky ones who "only" invested about $50 into this project back in the beginning hoping for moon. Trusted DNP3 and his vision and wished I could have invested more early on. Should have seen the signs when the price continued to go down and ignored the FUD. My $50 turned into $20, then $12, then $6 BEFORE this scam was revealed. Was going to get out, but then decided to hold because it was only $6, so might as well just see what happens. Now it's only worth an unsellable $1 and obviously written it off. Just crazy how someone could do this to a huge community of people who trusted him.

I asked ChatGPT to write a story about goobers: The story of the goobers began many centuries ago, in a time when the world was still young and full of magic. It was a time of dragons and wizards, of knights and fair maidens, of great heroes and fearsome monsters. In this world of wonder, there lived a wise old wizard who was known throughout the land for his great knowledge and magical powers. One day, the wizard was walking through the forest when he came upon a small patch of strange and unusual plants. Intrigued, the wizard examined the plants more closely and discovered that they were unlike any he had ever seen before. The plants were small and round, with bright green leaves and a thin, papery skin. As the wizard watched, a tiny creature emerged from one of the plants and scampered away. The wizard was fascinated by this strange new creature, and he spent many hours studying and observing them. He soon learned that these creatures were called goobers, and that they were full of energy and mischief. The wizard was so taken with the goobers that he decided to bring some of them back to his laboratory to study more closely. And so, with a wave of his wand, he gathered up a small group of goobers and transported them to his castle. There, the wizard spent countless hours studying the goobers and learning all about their habits and behavior. And as he worked, he began to realize that the goobers were much more than just simple creatures. They were intelligent and resourceful, with their own unique culture and way of life. The wizard was so impressed by the goobers that he decided to share them with the rest of the world. And so, he spread the word about these amazing creatures, and soon goobers could be found in every corner of the land. And that, dear reader, is the story of where goobers came from. A tale of magic and wonder, of a wise old wizard and the strange and wonderful creatures he discovered in the forest.

I actually know DNP3 and it's really sad to hear this is how his projects went. Me and my hubby met him in Rust and honestly I think Rust is a collection of people who are addicted to gambling. We've met so many people in Rust that struggle with gambling and this is why I'm so against gambling. It's fun to go to arcades and spend a small amount of money playing fun games and winning cheap prizes but when you throw large sums of money into a place that's only goal is to take your money its no good. I'm glad I avoid the NFT hype as well. I hope DNP3 recovers from his addiction and that everyone else effected can recover as well.

Dnp3 has always kind of had a smugness about him where he’s the got to be the happy star and everything’s positive and nothing bad can happen around him. Him throwing his software engineering at Facebook and military career at the end just shows his narcissistic personality. It’s really sad because several years ago on twitch dnp3 has a sizeable following and lots of respect from the community on twitch. Now he’s using gambling as an excuse to exit fast and take all the money, so he can live his “best life”. He used to be all about helping people and paying it forward, I am sure that was all a smokescreen so he could get as much money as possible and take it all when the time was right. I used to be a fan of the guy but luckily I never put any money in his clu coin, I knew that was a scam from day 1. His last twitch stream highlights are from 11 months ago so looks like he gave up on his marbles streams and went full slots streams.
