Yea my wife and I had our storage building broken into and they stole all of my fishing gear all my tools and all of the antique furniture my mom and dad left me after they passed away. I had no insurance and no footage of who might of stolen it the indoor storage facility only had footage of the main entry door no video of loading dock. I had to just forgive whoever did this and like you said keep on keeping on...

Ive been robbed twice, my work vehicles were broken into and everything that i cared about was gone both times. It was absolutely devastating losing all of that time and money that i put into acquiring all of those tools and equipment! Worst feeling in the world to get violated like that, thieves deserve death penalty IMO. Its unfortunate that the police are so inundated with this type of crime they dont even investigate or try to recover the property that was stolen. But like you said time goes on and you keep trucking, i have since totally rebuilt my tool kit and each time it gets better and more dialed in. Keep on kicking ass, dont ever give up!

When people steal your stuff, they're stealing your time, actually stealing your life. People work to get things, put in those hours. The objects stolen represent the time value you spent on them -- which for most people is just work, not time enjoyed. You can get stuff back, but the time is forever stolen. So stealing, to me, is a bigger deal than people usually say it is. Anyway, sorry this happened to you, but glad you seem to have come back strong.
