I recently found out about Beth Hart from Slash's latest album and was just blown away. She sang Stormy Monday and I highly, highly recommend giving it a listen. I've been meaning to check out her solo work and this was a great start.

I have seen Beth live a couple of times and she has always had a super range and incredible power. Right up there with the best female singers ever and she and hubby Scott are really nice people as well. Great to hear a new song! Look forward to when she can tour in Australia again.

If you dig this, check out Beth Hart doing Stormy Monday on Slashs album Orgy Of the Damned. It's incredible, I bet she needed a cigarette after singing that one. I needed one after lsitening. Fun fact, last song on the album is called Machine Gun Vibrato. Agree about aging voices. There are great examples of older singers that still have great voices. I love Ann Wilsons voice, being in her seventies, quite a lot, it's different, but she developed a warmth, that is very pleasant.

I watched your Eminem reactions and especially his fast rapping, and when talking about fast raps it's impossible not to mention Mac Lethal, who doesn't seem to use his speed much in his actual songs, but he does some youtube videos showcasing it (and his diction is extremely good, like Eminem). For example he did 1000 words in 2 minutes. He also did some great speed videos, like the "alphabet insanity" or "Santa raps so fast". If one day you don't know what to react to...

I have come across a new singer Alexia Evellyn. I absolutely love she version of "Savage Daughter", but she didn't sing the entire song only 1:16. But she sings the complete song Savage Daughters, a completely different song. For some of her videos she sings at some interesting locations.
