Daniel Im from western NC and the artic air is hitting us Sunday night through Wednesday. Down in the teens. I'm thankful and grateful to have our home after hurricane Helene but alot of the more mountains are living in tents with their family and children. Please pray for them. A tent with a little heater is not going to keep them warm during this artic air. Pray these children and parents survive this after they survived the flooding. Love you Arms family videos and please pray .

I've gotten good service from my dump trailer by lining the bed with 2x6 boards running lengthwise, joined together by thin strips of 2" strap steel at the head and tail. I use the D ring tie-down loops at the front to keep the whole deck from sliding out with the load. You and I both haul mostly abrasive material which wears the dump bed skin out surprisingly fast. I even lined the sides with 1/2" plywood for the same reason. I'm 6 years in now without having to replace any of the wood, but I do take it out for winter storage and I apply a fresh coat of Rustoleum on the steel.

Danial up here in Ontario Canada we have been on a roller coaster ride with the weather temps for the last year! Even in the past summer! Since fall we go up and down every week from 10 to 70 throughout the fall and since winter we have been between 10 to -20! Yesterday it was 4 then -5 overnight , up to zero today and dropping down to -12 then the cold hits for the next 3 days down to high of -20. By end of the week it will feel warm at -2!!! Love the baby goats and little Maggie. ❤❤

@teresajames5993---That is how it has been in Minnesota too--WC Minnesota. Weird weather has been for well over a year here. No snow for 23-24 winter, drought all summer, and still a drought now in 25. I now have -10 F, with a horrible breeze. Less snow than what the southern states received so far. Almost +40 Friday and then temps dropped during the night, only got to 0 today.

I love your ideas, Daniel. That concrete is perfect for a boat ramp and a large picnic area and place for you to clean your fish. You could even put something in other areas around your pond. Those slabs can save you a lot for concrete pours. The ideas are endless.
@judithhopper136812 күн бұрын
You could also level out a couple patio places around the house and use the slabs by a back or side door. Dusty might be able to use a few around the little cabins.

@williamsanders280812 күн бұрын
Glad to hear Emmalee is doing well. She must be on what the NHL calls LTIR (Long term injured reserve). That concrete will likely, combined with logs, make for really nice pond structure. And the concret will keep the logs from floating, until they get waterlogged. Could probably use a couple of the longer ones for a small boat ramp, as well.
