ES is widely considered to be the best modern set released so far. Would not be surprised if it clears $2k by the time the 30th anniversary arrives in 2026. IMO, ES is a leading indicator for modern sealed products and was making moves even in the bear market. Exciting times ahead.

Saw this coming in 2021 and bought 7 booster boxes for $150 CAD, in addition to buying the entire Master Set+ (Promos & Espeon Alt, because it should have been in ES) as singles one at a time. As well as buying a bunch of Eevee Heroes booster boxes and buying the Master Set for that one card at a time.

The best part is booster boxes arent going to retrace a whole lot. I dont even think thisll go down 20% after the market crashes. Thst would put it at 800 and i doubt thatll happen. Good to see fusion and LO popping off too. Fusion is in the 300 to 350 range and that took me by surprised at the current rate. I also perfer it over LO but i may slgutly out the girtantina ahead of the gengar

Right, but then you’re 1) Not getting a premium on the sealed boxes. 2) Pay more in shipping since it’ll be a larger box. And 3) Still better to buy booster boxes and PC ETBs out the game since they outperform.

@@PokeProfit Agree with your #3 As for 1 & 2 disagree, Still getting a premium selling them 9 at a time, why assume people only want to buy them 1 at a time. More economical to ship 9 in one box then shipping 9 of them in individual boxes, this translates into higher sale price on the item when selling them 9 at a time. Same with 3 pack blisters, sell them 12 at a time, 36 packs like a booster box. Lots of people do this. Current postage rates actually negate the idea of selling items one at a time to maximize profit.

It’s incredibly unlikely you’re going to sell 9 to one person in the future. If someone is buying a lot like that, they are presumably doing it for the pack value and not because they wanted specifically (9) build and battle kits. At that point, they would probably buy a sealed display of 10. If you want to argue that there would still be that very rare buyer that is going to buy a massive amount of loose kits and pay top dollar, fair enough, but that’s then opening yourself up to an counter argument about less liquidity. As for 2) I was referring to a booster box. You’ll pay more to ship 9 build and battles than you would the most compact version of 36 packs ever created.
